Loughlin will appear in the two-part Season 2 premiere titled When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, slated to air on Saturday, Dec. 18.
Loughlin was last seen on TV as Abigail in Season 6 of Hallmark Channel’s hit series When Calls the Heart before she was let go over her involvement in the college admissions scandal. The actress, who is on probation after serving a two-month sentence, sparked speculation that she may be returning to work last week following a Mercury News report that she had been given permission by a Boston federal judge to travel to Canada for about a week in late September-early October for “a filming production project.

It's not often for the fourth episode of any season to have much significance, but When Calls the Heart Season 6 Episode 4 pulled its weight in many ways.
A new mountie arrived in town, a couple started a new relationship, and, of course, it's the first episode without Lori Loughlin as Abigail.
Welcome to the new TV Fanatic coverage of When Calls the Heart!!
Let's start with introductions.
It might not be easy to tell from my TV Fanatic coverage, but I am a diehard Hallmark networks junkie. At some times I will have an entire DVR filled with Hallmark movies, some to watch for a second or third time.
The Good Witch and Chesapeake Shores are favorites, but for some reason, I never watched When Calls the Heart despite a great affinity for everyone on the show.
So, when I discovered just how dedicated the Wcth fans were as a...

As previously reported, the plan was for Wcth to remove any and all scenes featuring Abigail from the remainder of Season 6, which had already completed production ahead of Loughlin’s arrest. Accounting for Hope Valley’s M.I.A. mayor, Elizabeth (played by Erin Krakow) revealed in the opening scene that Abigail had left town to take...
