Denise Crosby (Star Trek: The Next Generation) is joining the recurring cast of Suits for the USA Network series’ ninth and final season.
Crosby will play Faye Richardson, a no-nonsense representative from the New York Bar Association. She comes to the firm to deliver a court order, which has serious consequences.
She will join returning series regulars Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill and Katherine Heigl in the Ucp-produced series. Patrick J. Adams will guest star to reprise the role of Mike Ross. Production on Season 9 is underway in Toronto.
Suits began when legendary hotshot lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) took a gamble by hiring Mike Ross (Adams), a brilliant, but not-so-legitimate college dropout, as an associate at his prolific Manhattan law firm. Actor Patrick J. Adams will return for the ninth and final season of "Suits".
Adams will reprise his role as Mike Ross at mid-season to get involved in a case that will put him toe to toe with his former mentor Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl), reports an agency.
Adams previously starred on the hit series but departed the show in its seventh season. The show is aired in India on Colors Infinity.
In the beginning of the series, Ross was able to impress Specter with his encyclopedic knowledge of the law despite never having officially passed the bar, securing Ross a position at Specter's law firm. In the end of season seven, Ross left the firm to move to Seattle with his wife Rachel (Meghan Markle).

Suits will be bringing back an original series regular before the legal drama comes to a close.
According to Deadline, Patrick J. Adams will reprise the role of Mike Ross on Suits Season 9 Episode 5.
His return will put him up against his best friend, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler.
“He doesn’t exactly know that Samantha is going to be involved when he comes back, but he does know Harvey is going to be,” Aaron Korsh told the website.
On top of that, there will be “some fun scenes and some emotional scenes with Mike and the old gang. He will interact with more than Harvey and Samantha.”

Patrick J. Adams will return to USA’s “Suits” for its ninth and final season, USA Network told TheWrap.
He is set to reprise his role as Mike Ross, the on-screen husband of Rachel Zane, who was played by the now-Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. Per the cable channel, Adams will come back mid-season to get involved in a case that puts him toe to toe with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl).
Ross — and thus, Adams — left the series at the end of Season 7 to move to Seattle with Rachel. When TheWrap asked USA if Markle will return, the net referred us to series creator Aaron Korsch’s pretty consistent remarks about that popular question. Basically, she’s always welcome back — but don’t hold your breath.

Original Suits star Patrick J. Adams will return for the series’ upcoming 10-episode final season. He will reprise his character of Mike Ross in Episode 5 of the USA Network series as he gets involved in a case that puts him toe to toe with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl). While that is Adams’ only confirmed involvement so far, I hear he also is expected to make an appearance in Suits‘ series finale.
“I couldn’t be happier to be part of the final chapter of Suits. I’ve missed my TV family, and am looking forward to seeing what kind of trouble Mike Ross can stir up at the firm one last time,” Adams told Deadline before adding, “But if the wardrobe department thinks they’re getting back the suits I stole when I left, they’re going to be very disappointed.”

All this royal wedding hubbub will probably make for great ratings for Suits! Meghan Markle is set to marry Prince William on May 19, but before that happens, we'll see her back on the USA legal drama. Yes, Meghan Markle is still on Suits, but only for six more episodes — and those installments kicked off this week, on March 28, when Season 7 resumed. Even more excitingly, this week's episode foreshadowed how Suits will bid farewell to her character, Rachel Zane, and her on-screen love interest, Mike Ross, played by fellow departing cast member Patrick J. Adams. "We lay the groundwork in a subtle way, and then we also have some actual logistical things that happen within the show," Suits creator Aaron Korsh told TVLine. "But if we hadn't made the announcement that they were leaving, I do not think you would have seen them leaving coming." Fans are hoping the two characters...
