Hunters is a series created by David Weil starring Al Pacino, Logan Lerman and Saul Rubinek among others.
By Jordan Peele as executive producer, Hunters is in its second season with Al Pacino as maximum attraction of this series about nazi hunters which is appealing because of its aesthetics that are comic strip or “Seventies” look which will not go by unnoticed.
It is not by chance that this is a series with an unmistakeable Peele look, maximum exponent of the “new horror film”. Doubtlessly, this makes it special as well as the very unique way in which absurd is combined with a a series plot that at the same time is a very deep denouncement in social issues.
A very different, entertaining, funny, aesthetic and theatrical series that has a truly spectacular end of season in store for us. Not to be missed.

Plot: After an accident derails their exploits in Europe, The Hunters must band back together to hunt down history’s most infamous Nazi—Adolf Hitler—who’s hiding in South America. Meanwhile, a look to the past reveals Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino) encountering a dangerous threat that could unravel his secret and expose his true identity, with explosive reverberations for our Hunters.
Review: It is rare to see a television series go out on its own terms after such a short time on the air. Despite premiering three years ago, the second season of Hunters was delayed due to Covid-19. After so many years away, the dramatic series about Nazi hunters in the 1970s returns with a vastly different sophomore season which also serves as its last. I enjoyed the first season of this pulpy exploitation thriller, but I loved the second despite it feeling like a wholly different series.

Al Pacino and Logan Lerman return for the second and final season of the Amazon Prime streaming series, Hunters. The teaser has just been released, and this one looks to be a doozy, as the assassins are now on the hunt for Adolf Hitler [insert Kanye joke here]. THR reports on the teaser as it hooks you instantly with Dylan Baker’s Biff Simpson bargaining with Jonah Heidelbaum with the ultimate trade proposal, “Let me live, and I will bring you the biggest prize you could imagine: Adolf Hitler.”
The teaser reveals resident creepy character actor, Udo Kier, stepping into the infamous German’s shoes for the show. The one-minute look for the final season shows Heidelbaum declaring, “One more run and everything that we have done would have been worth it.” Jerrika Hinton’s Millie Morris, then replies, “We can’t do it alone, so where are your friends?” Enter the cast of...

Elle Fanning, “The Great”
The real Catherine the Great was said to have been disgusted by her husband, Peter III, partly because of his pale complexion — which is why you could take it as an elaborate joke that Tony McNamara cast Elle Fanning as Catherine in the wry and twisted series “The Great.” If so, Fanning — all steel and wile under that alabaster façade — provides a sharp and strong punchline. — Steve Pond
“Avenue 5”
I wasn’t planning on watching “Avenue 5,” and then I found myself in the newborn unit of the hospital, unable to leave the room, take my mask off or, of course, sleep. Needing something...

It’s not often that a TV series lands legendary Oscar winner Al Pacino as its star, and in the case of Amazon’s Hunters it repped The Godfather actor’s first TV series ever.
Hunters, set in the 1970s, follows a young Jewish man, played by Logan Lerman, who bands with a secret group of Nazi hunters to find the killer of his Holocaust-survivor grandmother. Pacino’s wealthy kingpin character Meyer Offerman leads the group.
“He read the script, and we had a series of meetings with him where we spoke about the character of Meyer Offerman and what [series creator] David [Weil] had in mind when he created the character,” co-showrunner Nikki Toscano said during the Amazon Prime video panel at Deadline’s Contenders Television virtual event. “The coolest part of working with Pacino was when we started discussing the character, there was this constant brainstorming going on at all times...

“She’s a person who wants to see her actions matter in the world,” proclaims Jerrika Hinton about the role of FBI agent Millie Morris on Amazon’s “Hunters.” The period drama follows Agent Morris as she investigates a group Nazi-hunting vigilantes trying to stop the creation of a “Fourth Reich” in 1970s America. In our exclusive video interview (watch above), Hinton shares her views on the show’s connection to today’s politics and working opposite Oscar-winner Al Pacino.
Hinton was immediately drawn in by creator David Weil‘s pilot script for the series. “I was really impressed by David’s writing,” she recalls. “I was impressed by how he fleshed out even just the skeleton of Millie in the pilot.” The actress says that she was unfamiliar with much of the historical fact that is loosely connected to the series, specifically the American government’s recruiting of Nazi...
