Earlier this month, Uber released a 30-second preview of their Super Bowl commercial, which featured Sean Combs, aka Diddy, being asked to record a song for Uber One.
While the preview shows Diddy refusing to do a jingle, he does agree to record a hit for the company and invited the viewers to “meet me at the studio.”
With the help of Diddy, Uber did indeed deliver “one hit for Uber One” – or rather multiple versions of multiple hits for Uber One – in their Super Bowl Lvii commercial.
With throwbacks to classic songs like “This is How We Do It,” “Milkshake” and “I Love You Always Forever,” the ad shows Diddy recording in the studio with strategically placed Uber Eats deliveries, and includes cameos of artists Montell Jordan, Kelis, Donna Lewis and even “What Does the Fox Say” Norwegian comedy duo, Ylvis.

It’s been eight years since the song “The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)” was released, and it took roughly eight years to get it out of our heads. But then came last week’s episode of “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.” Thanks to a glitch in Zoey’s (Jane Levy) power, Simon (John Clarence Stewart) brought it to life once again and it may live on another eight years. And for that, Stewart has just one sentiment: “You know what…sorry not sorry?”
Of course, Stewart can say that a little more flippantly because he had actually never heard of the 2013 viral Ylvis hit until learning he had to perform it. “I looked it up and I was like, ‘That looks like a weird song. Sorry for whoever has to sing that one.’ And sure enough, it’s me!” Stewart told TheWrap, chuckling. But in the end, he was more...

Exclusive: Anonymous Content Nordic, the Norway-based division of Anonymous Content, is developing a limited series based on the high-profile trial of Laila Bertheussen, the partner of Norwegian ex-Minister of Justice Tor Mikkel Wara, and the events and circumstances that led to it.
Bertheussen today was found guilty of threatening democracy and sentenced to 20 months in prison. She had pled not guilty to all charges, which included setting her car on fire and vandalizing the family home.
The case, which transfixed Norway, goes back to the 2018 theatrical run of Ways of Seeing, a play that blamed Wara and other members of Norway’s right-wing Progress Party for furthering racism and racist attitudes across the country.
Bertheussen at the time objected to images of their house being used in the production as a potential threat to their safety.
Soon, mysterious acts of vandalism and began to take place around Bertheussen’s home.

Some 11,000 international television executives, including between 3,000 and 4,000 buyers, will attend the Mip TV market in Cannes, which kicks off this weekend.
It’s expected to rain all week and there’s the inevitable French transport strike but the organizers hope that these will not put a dampener on the event, which is going through a number of changes to ensure its relevance in an ever-changing global TV market.
Although non-scripted formats and documentaries will dominate the weekend’s agenda, this year’s event will offer an even greater focus on high-end drama. Reed Midem is working closely with the inaugural Canneseries event to bring flashy premieres to the port city and has adapted its Mip Drama screenings to focus on projects that are at an even earlier stage than usually promoted at the market.
A number of titles including Sky Vision’s Finnish terror thriller Bullets, Wiedemann & Berg’s Bridge-esque...
