Back in 2006, Wes Craven produced a killer dog movie called The Breed (watch it Here), which was directed by Nicholas Mastandrea from a screenplay by Robert Conte and Peter Martin Wortmann and starred Michelle Rodriguez, Oliver Hudson, Taryn Manning, Eric Lively, Hill Harper, Nick Boraine, and Lisa-Marie Schneider. I thought the movie just slipped into obscurity, since I don’t think I’ve heard anyone reference it in the eighteen years since its release, but apparently it has gained enough of a cult following that it’s now getting the remake treatment. A couple weeks ago, we learned that Grace Caroline Currey of Fall is set to star in the film, and now Variety reports that Page Kennedy – who had to deal with man-eating sharks in The Meg and Meg 2: The Trench – has joined Currey in the cast of this killer dog redo.

Page Kennedy has joined the cast of “The Breed,” an upcoming reimagining of the cult favorite. He joins a cast that also includes Grace Caroline Currey. The film will be directed by brothers Nathan and Griff Furst, who will also produce together through their Curmudgeon Films shingle.
Kennedy, a Shakespearean-trained performer, was recently seen in “The Meg 2: The Trench,” appearing opposite Jason Statham in the mega-shark movie, which opened last summer. He reprised his role from the first film, 2018’s “The Meg,” which grossed more than $530 million. He also starred on the Netflix series “The Upshaws” alongside Wanda Sykes and Mike Epps. He will next be seen in the upcoming action-comedy “Code 3,” which co-stars Rainn Wilson and Yvette Nicole Brown. In addition to his film work, Kennedy has been a series regular on numerous shows such as “Rush Hour,” “Weeds,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Backstroke” and “Blue Mountain State.” In addition to his acting work,...

There is something amiable about "Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon" that keeps you hooked to the screen despite its narrative being virtually wordless and containing a mixed bag of gags.
The premise of the film is about an unlikely friendship between an earthling and an extra-terrestrial, a theme that one has oft-seen on screen.
The narrative follows Shaun the Sheep (Fletcher) and the rest of the flock on Mossy Bottom Farm in Mossingham, where they live under the weary guardianship of Farmer John's strict, watchdog Bitzer (Sparkes).
A wonky UFO crashlands nearby. Lu-la (Vitale), its sole, extra-terrestrial traveller seems lost and Shaun and his gang swiftly and literally take her into their fold. They very discreetly try to help her return to her ship and contact home.
Lu-la is a toddler and thus is a natural and adorable match for Shaun.

Princess Kate paid a memorable visit to Farms for City Children in Gloucester, England, Wednesday, making some surprising revelations in the process, including her willingness to get up close and personal with livestock!
Here are some of the best moments from her trip to the farm:
1. She touched a pig’s…ahem…butt.
Or as the Brits would say, “bum.” Kate wasn’t afraid to get her hands a little dirty (literally) during her farm visit, where she rolled up her sleeves and got to work moving the farm’s pigs along.
“She was pushing the pig’s bum with her bare hands,...

The royal family is a family of animal lovers!
During a visit to a farm in Gloucester on Wednesday, Princess Kate revealed all the surprising animals the royal family has at their country home of Anmer Hall.
In addition to the family dog, Lupo, and Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s pet hamster named Marvin, they also have five chickens, a lamb — and an incubator full of eggs!
“She has got several Cuckoo Marans at home, she told me,” stockman Dave Evansoneya, 50, told reporters after the royal’s visit.
And Kate isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty.
“She says she had cleaned out a few chicken sheds in her time!” he said.

I bought it for myself, but this was my Christmas present, arriving in the mail from England on Christmas Eve: a fifteen-cd set containing five epic Springsteen concerts from the legendary Darkness on the Edge of Town tour. When the Cleveland deejay who emceed the show for Wmms-fm introduced the band by saying, "Round for round, pound for pound, there ain’t no finer band around," he wasn't just rhyming, he was telling the truth.
Why, you ask, did this set come from England? Well, it's an unauthorized collection of bootlegs, but in Europe, radio recordings are public domain, so this is actually a legal release.
The word went out through the fan network I ordered it on Amazon U.K. before the release date. Perhaps Bruce doesn't get a penny out of this, but I've seen it suggested that writers' royalties would still have to be paid. Either way,...

Previously, on The Vampire Diaries
Damon and Enzo kill some time over the supine body of the owner of the farm house in which they’re currently squatting, speculating on the whereabouts of his absent wife. Damon is sure they fell out of love and she cheated on him with the pastor.
Enzo figures Damon’s crankiness is the result of hunger, it having been some eight hours since he last drained a fellow vampire because of Doctor Evil’s formula. Damon is initially miffed about being timed but seems to accept that Enzo is merely engaged in some enlightened self-interest. Before they can get any more into it the farmer revives and Enzo feeds him a blood bag to complete his vampiric transformation. The confused noob confirms that his wife did leave him, but for the pharmacist, not the pastor. Damon still takes it as a win before draining...
