Jill and Derick Dillard have maintained a low profile in recent weeks. While Duggar family followers noticed the duo weren’t posting much on social media, most assumed they were taking a break after a whirlwind press tour for Jill’s scathing memoir. There was a much sadder reason behind their absence. In a heartbreaking update, Jill and Derick Dillard announced the stillbirth of their first daughter; they hadn’t shared the pregnancy news with the world.

The Duggar family seems to be going through a bit of a dry spell when it comes to babies. Right now, no Duggar is publicly pregnant. While there are rumors that Joy-Anna Forsyth could be expecting, family followers have turned their attention to Jinger Vuolo. Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, have not welcomed a new baby since 2020, leading some family followers to question if they are done having kids. Jinger answered the question in an Instagram Q&a.
Are Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo planning for more kids?
Jinger and Jeremy have been doing things their own way since they married in 2016. They waited more than a year after their wedding day to expand their family. They’ve spoken openly about finding some of the Duggar family rules and practices outdated and strange, and they’ve moved far from Jinger’s hometown.

Duggar pregnancy speculations are nothing new, but Jill Dillard isn’t often at the center of them. Last week, Jill set the rumor mill churning when she appeared in an Instagram post bent over awkwardly. Jill’s awkward pose has some Duggar family followers questioning whether Jill will cap off an eventful year with a pregnancy announcement. While there is no word on whether Jill is expecting or not, let’s take a look back at her previous pregnancy announcements.

Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar made it their mission to bring as many children into the world as possible. As it turns out, that strategy also turned into their meal ticket. With over a dozen kids, the couple landed a reality TV show and built a media empire before it all came toppling down. Regardless, Jim Bob Duggar is still obsessed with having a massive family. Jill and Derick Dillard claim Jim Bob favors the kids who have given him the most grandchildren.

Um, sorry, what did she just say? Did Jill Duggar just say that her super sassy son Samuel Dillard was flirting with her? She did? Oh, okay. Of course she did. Because that's a totally normal thing to say about your toddler son. In a recent YouTube video posted to the Dillard family channel, Jill shared a clip of little Sam eating, playing peek-a-boo, you know, doing normal baby stuff. It was pretty adorable in the way that most of the Duggar family's pictures and videos of their little kids are. But what was weird about this post was that Jill had titled the video, "Samuel Dillard flirts with his Momma," even though, you know, the clip also showed her trying to teach him how to blow kisses and him absolutely refusing to even try. Fans couldn't help but be just as weirded out as we are — but because Jill disabled the YouTube comments,...

The Duggars don't go into specifics when they talk about how they discipline their kids, but fans are worried the TLC reality family follows the advice of Michael and Debi Pearl, the authors of the controversial parenting book To Train Up a Child, which advises parents to use corporal punishment to make children completely obedient. But it's not just spanking this Pearl method recommends, apparently… A post shared by The Duggar Family (@duggarfam) on Feb 14, 2018 at 8:19am Pst According to Babble, the Pearls' training methods reportedly include using plastic tubing to hit children, "swatting" babies with plastic tubing or a wooden spoon, hitting older children with paddles and belts, exposing children to cold weather and withholding meals as discipline, "training" children with pain before they disobey, and inflicting punishment until a child is "without breath to complain." Additionally, as Babble reports, at least three child deaths have been linked to the Pearls' method.

So much for sisterly love. When Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard took their two little kids out to their first baseball game recently, Jill's big sis Jana Duggar came with. But fans don't think she was brought on because of her love of baseball or for a little family bonding. They suspect instead that she was brought along as a built-in babysitter for little Israel and Samuel Dillard. Check out the video above to see proof that Jana is Always the designated babysitter. In a new post on their family blog, the mother of two revealed that she and her hubby took their kids out to the ol' ball game a few weeks back. Well, this is... weird. Jeremy Vuolo celebrated his 31st birthday yesterday, and in honor of his special day, Jinger Duggar gave him an, uh, interesting present. The Counting On star apparently hit up her brother Josiah's ex-girlfriend, Marjorie Jackson, who then handwrote calligraphy for him. Wtf? Check out the video above to see the gift Jinger gave him. Si tied the knot to Lauren Swanson in June, but prior to their courtship, he was courting Marjorie.. Aka, they were pretty darn serious. However, in August 2015 the two called off their courtship with a joint statement released by both families. Uh-oh — it looks like Jill Duggar may be worried about Derick Dillard cheating. Lately, they've seemed to be doing well in their marriage, but there may be trouble at home now that Derick has started law school. With him leaving the house to be out around new people (and new women), we can understand how the mom of two might be stressing. And fans are pointing to her newest social media post as the proof. Recently, she posted an Instagram photo of her two sons and her bible, and captioned it, "Praying for my hubby and boys this morning! #proverbs #wisdom." The photo seemed pretty normal for a Duggar daughter to share, but followers noticed something strange about the passage she had open. It was one marked "Warning Against Adultery" — and the whole thing was highlighted. Praying for my hubby and boys this morning! #proverbs #wisdom...

Keep on Counting On! Joy-Anna Duggar gave birth to her son, Gideon, back in February, but now rumor has it that she wants a large family with her husband, Austin Forsyth. A source told Hollywood Life the couple "definitely wants a large family," but that they don't want one "on the scale of 'Duggars large.'" The Duggar siblings have a lot in common: Their hair, their genes, and heck, even their jeans. But have you ever noticed the way they sit? Yeah, we haven't either. Leave it to eagle-eyed Counting On fans to point out that the ladies have a certain formula for lounging around, and it's all about the hand placement. Watch the video above for all the deets! One reddit user pointed out the phenomenon and wrote, "Random: They all sit the exact same way." Another agreed, writing, "They also all laugh the same way, talk the same way, etc," and a third chimed in, "It makes sense though. They hang around each other a lot since they were homeschooled." A fourth, however, said the way they sit likely isn't something matriarch Michelle brainwashed them into, it's biological. "All humans actually mirror each other's posture," they commented. Though Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar may share plenty of DNA, most of the time they don't actually look all that much alike. Jill is paler, Jessa's hair is less curly, Jill is taller and more lanky — there are plenty of differences between the two. But every now and then we spot a picture or a video and it's like we're seeing double. Not only do they look strikingly similar, it's almost like you could swap one out for another and not notice. In an old clip of 19 Kids and Counting (back when there were just 18 kids), there's even a clip where we almost didn't recognize Jessa — because we thought we were looking at Jill. In the video, John David Duggar, cousin Amy Duggar, and Jessa are sitting in the back of a truck, and Jessa's super long, curly hair with her bangs pulled back makes her look exactly like her big sis.

Baby's first haircut! The Duggar family is known for Diy-ing a lot of things in order to save money, and that's something they've instilled in their children — and their adult children are continuing the tradition. Jill Duggar took to her family's YouTube channel to share two cute new videos documenting her youngest son Samuel Dillard's first haircut. "Sam-Sam is just about to get his first haircut, yay!" Jill said in the clip, and her husband Derick Dillard could be heard saying, "Yay, Sam," in the background. Since Sam is still growing in his hair in some places, his mama just needed to trim up the front of his hair and the back, where his hair was so long that it was starting to curl up. Jill definitely looked like she had some experience with cutting a baby's hair, and she used hair clippers instead of scissors for baby's first cut.

There are a lot of things the Duggar/Dillard family does because the bible told them to, like hating on gay and trans people, dressing modestly, and having tons of kids. But surprisingly, being sober isn't one of them! It finally happened: after months of hysterical tweets, starting with the Jazz Jennings controversy and spiraling into blatant insanity, Derick Dillard switched his Twitter account to private. We can only imagine that Jim Bob Duggar really put his foot down about this because the Duggars probably hate Derick for the nonsense he's put them through. In fact, since Jill and Derick have already been excommunicated from Counting On as a result of the backlash, we're starting to believe they're getting cut off from the rest of the family. To which I say, about time. Facts: what does Derick actually add to the Duggar fandom, besides a lightning pole for hatred now that Josh sightings are so sparse? Derick is transphobic, homophobic, rude, crude, and physically a troll. And as for Jill? At her best, is the most boring Duggar daughter, bland against mean queens, martyrs, miracle babies, pants-wearers, and of course,...

What a fresh face! Jill Duggar shared a new photo on Instagram where she described herself as makeup-free — and her followers were loving the natural look! See the photo in the video above. The Counting On star is forever sharing candid moments with her fans — from messy rooms in her house to keeping leaving her baby on the floor — so it's hardly surprising that she would share such a ~raw~ photo. Fans have questioned over the years why the girls can wear makeup but have strict rules when it comes to dressing and etiquette — and they explained in their 2014 book Growing Up Duggar that they dress "modestly" to preserve their bodies for their husbands. "We realize that our body is a special gift from God," they shared, "and that he intends for it to be shared only with our future husband." As far as we know, their religious guidelines do...

You guys, I've got a bone to pick with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar: They never courted. Icymi, the Counting On stars have a strict no-fun policy in place for their 19 offspring — dating with the intention of marriage. Doesn't sound so bad, right? Well, except for the fact that they don't get any of the benefits like making out and holding hands. In a recently resurfaced clip from 2014, their daughter, Jill, spilled the beans and revealed her lovebird parents were getting freaky prior to tying the knot. "So my parents, they um, did the traditional dating," the now 26-year-old dished. "So when they were engaged, they spent a lot of time alone together. They said they saved intimacy for marriage, but they kissed." So my life is a lie. Got it. Jill added, however, that they regretted their promiscuous decision. Yeah, Ok. "They wish they would've saved more of each other for themselves,...

Believe it or not, there's another family of 19 that exists in the Netherlands, and they're strangely similar to the Duggars. "Deeply religious" patriarch, Henk Koelewijn, called the police to report a burglary nearly two years ago, but what authorities found was even more frightening: A man whose children seemed utterly terrified of their dad. Now, the 59-year-old is on trial facing a slew of crimes that will make your heart ache. According to Patheos.com, Koelewijn beat at least one of his children every day for the past 12 years. Oftentimes, he would threaten them with death, yelling on multiple occasions that he would shoot them in the head. He even chased his 12-year-old with a running chainsaw and sexually molested his then 11-year-old daughter. Like ministers Michael and Debi Pearl — who have been at the center of controversy since publishing their book To Train Up a Child — Koelewijn would often resort to corporal punishment,...

Y'all, something amazing happened this week and it went totally unnoticed. That's right, Samuel Dillard — the son of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard — tried a pickle for the first time, which means he's officially a member of the famous fam. For those of you who may not know, pickle-eating is a big thing in Duggarville (for reasons we may never understand), so when the 10-month-old chomped down on a giant Dill, he made history. Watch the video below to witness the milestone! So where exactly does the Duggars weird food obsession come from? Well, pickles are actually mentioned a few times in the Bible. Nah, we're totally kidding. But Jill's sister, Jessa, once speculated that the love of pickles dates back to Michelle's first pregnancy. "The Duggars love pickles. I think it probably started that when my mom is pregnant she craves pickles, that is the one thing. Every time...

Ouch! The Internet slammed Jill Duggar after watching a video of the Counting On star brush her eight-month-old son, Samuel Dillard's, teeth for the very first time. While she might be trying to teach him about personal hygiene at a young age, fans noticed that the 26-year-old doesn't exactly have a gentle touch when it comes to brushing. Watch the video above and check out the way Jill took a toothbrush to Sam's tiny teeth! Jill's husband, Derrick Dillard, shared the video to his own page with the caption, "Bedtime at the Dillard household has been fun with lots of 'firsts' #firsttoothbrushforsam #neweconomicsbooksfrommima." And while the video received tons of backlash from fans, it might be worth noting that Sam didn't seem too uncomfortable in the footage. A post shared by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on Mar 8, 2018 at 12:44pm Pst This certainly isn't the first time Jill and Derrick...
