Open auditions are to be held in the UK and Ireland for Star Wars Episode VII, it has been reported.
Casting sessions for two lead roles will be staged later this week at locations including London, Bristol, Dublin and Glasgow.
A casting notice states that producers are looking to fill the roles of a "street smart and strong" orphaned girl in her late teens and a "smart capable" man in his late teens or early 20s.
The open audition for a "major Hollywood Movie" was first revealed on the Twitter account @UKopencall, announcing a "nationwide search for lead roles for a Disney movie".
The characters - currently listed as Rachel and Thomas - are likely to have fake names in the announcement in order to avoid confirmation that the auditions are for the Star Wars sequel, according to BBC News.
