YouTube knows that to sell a premium service, you need to have great, exclusive content. That’s why the video site has produced so many original programs for YouTube Red, and it’s also why we’re now seeing a lot more 360-degree content for the recently-launched Google Daydream device. In particular, YouTube is touting its large collection of all-angles music videos, to which it recently added a new offering from Gorillaz.
YouTube’s 360-degree music videos are designed to be watched on Vr devices like Daydream, but they can also be accessed from mobile devices and web browsers, on which viewers can drag the screen to experience their favorite music from multiple vantage points. Specific 360-degree music videos mentioned in a blog post include tracks from Florida Georgia Line, Young The Giant, and The Naked & Famous.

Happy birthday, Blaine!
Darren Criss won our hearts pretty much the day we first met him at Dalton Academy belting out pop songs in his crisp navy blue and red blazer. In honor of the Glee star's 28th birthday, we're celebrating his 8 best Glee performances. This was somewhat hard to do because pretty much Every Darren Criss performance is amazing.
But we persevered and here is the ranking of our favorites:
News: We Never Stopped Believing — How 'Glee' Finally Got Its Groove Back!
8. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
Yeah. Darren Criss + Queen should pretty much be illegal.
7. All of Me - John Legend
Real talk: Klaine Forever.
6. It's Time - Imagine Dragons
This moving performance from Blaine to Kurt is what taught us that if you love something you have to let it go.
5. I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You - Black Kids
We can't Even handle how much...

Two San Francisco radio stations ban Lorde's song 'Royals' during the World Series.
Remember that time Lorde wrote a song praising the World Series contenders from Kansas City called 'Royals'?
Oh, you're saying that song had nothing to do with baseball at all?
Video: Lorde Releases New Single From The Hunger Games
Well, someone might want to tell that to Kfog and Koit, two radio stations in San Francisco who will not be playing the song at any time during the 2014 World Series, where the Sf Giants will face off against the Kansas City Royals.
Both stations tweeted the news to their listeners that, at least for the duration of the series, "Royals" will find no airplay with them.
Thanks 4 your comments! #Lorde #Royals will be removed from the @965Koit playlist until the end of the World Series #GoGiants...

Yes, it's that time again—that time when the songs are in front of us, all innocent and unknown. What will they be, and who will cover them? At this time last year, we couldn't possibly have guessed that Gwar would end up covering "Carry On Wayward Son," or that Young The Giant would do such delightful things with "Ignition (Remix)." But those things happened, and lo, they were good. For 2013, we've moved out of the round room—the whole company moved down the block—so we'll have a delightful new space for bands to ...

You, the people, have spoken. You've looked at all the women in binders and acts of terror and fully automatic weapons and told us by a fairly large margin that your favorite A.V. Undercover of 2012 was Gwar's rendition of the Kansas classic "Carry On Wayward Son." The race was damn close up until the end, when Gwar's Oderus Ungurus mobilized his fans via Twitter, and they came out in droves to vanquish Young The Giant's fantastic, fur coat-assisted take on R. Kelly's "Ignition (Remix)." The top-10 vote getters are listed below, and the ...

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 3, Episode 18 of Fox's Glee, titled, "Choke."
I initially thought I would write this blog post thinking I would hate the latest episode of Glee. However, while I didn't find it completely detestable, it is still wrought full of inconsistencies that make the show incredibly hard to love. At least for me. And I'm pretty easy to please.
The problem with Glee most of the time is that it juggles way too many storylines, often dropping them along the way. And then later, they pick them, tie them with a little bow, and toss them away just as fast. This is the same with the characters, which is why I think The Glee Project brings the main show down, filling it with unnecessary, one-dimensional, and plot-less add-ins. We already have little time devoted to the main cast, so why add more people that,...

Spend any time with Young the Giant and you'll quickly learn that the quintet from Irvine, California, offers more than just rock music. Not to say that their music is something to be brushed off: Their choruses are anthemic, drums stomping, and guitar and bass intricate and commanding. It all results in a sound that music critics would describe as "sweeping," "lush," or more simply "whole" — with every band member getting their fair share of shine.
On my First Date with Young the Giant to one of my old college haunts, the Pizza Box in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, it became clear that the reason they treat each other so fairly is simple: They're best friends. They've spent nearly every day of...

Cali rockers Young the Giant are still riding high on the wave of success of their self-titled debut album, and took some time out from their busy schedule to make a stop at the Av Club to perform a wicked cover of R. Kelly’s 2003 monster jam, “Ignition (Remix).”
Draped in hefty rented fur coats, the band clearly went all out with their ode to the R&B crooning master. The band was given the choice of a few songs to cover but ultimately went with “Ignition (Remix)” over Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way,” because they wanted to go with something “different.”
When asked if their choice was out of reverence or irony, frontman Sameer Gadhia responded, “There is a bit of irony actually, but we’re trying to be somewhat serious."
Their mellow rendition really isn’t too shabby either. It’s pretty interesting...

I suppose it had to happen soon to one the cast of the Jersey Shore, but The Situation has entered rehab.
Josh Brolin is set to host Saturday Night Live April 7th, with musical guest Gotye, further convincing me that those kids should get off my lawn.
Speaking of music, Gavin Creel released Get Out yesterday, and I found it surprising, in a good way. I was expecting big anthemic ballads, but he had some harder stuff on there and some dance remixes. Really enjoying it.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt really has no idea how the time machine works in Looper. But he says he modeled his performance on Bruce Willis, who plays the older version of his character. Was that so Willis didn't have to act at all?
Tom Hanks released a statement calling a years-old video that surfaced of him on stage with someone in blackface "hideously offensive then and is hideously offensive now.
