Another season of the "The Apprentice" is over, viewers, and one lucky apprentice got to hear those hallowed words "You're hired!" on Dec. 9. So who was it -- former corporate lawyer Brandy Kuentzel or property developer Clint Robertson? The winner of a job with Donald Trump's organization was (drumroll please!) Brandy.
The final challenge required each candidate to put on a charity golf tournament, which task provided challenges for both Brandy and Clint. Brandy was in charge of the first half of the tournament, which included arranging tables and coordinating comedian Kathy Griffin. Clint was responsible for the tournament's gala, which included taking care of Liza Minnelli's every need. Despite the difficulties each contestant faced, they both earned positive reviews.
During the final boardroom meeting, Brandy and Clint each pleaded their case. While Clint went for the cocky pitch ("I'm a CEO in a box"), Brandy went for...

Brandy Kuentzel has been crowned the winner of The Apprentice. The 30-year-old San Francisco native was announced as the champion at the end of tonight's finale after successfully organising a golf tournament and beating out fellow finalist Clint Robertson for the title. "Here I am with everything I had hoped to gain out of this entire experience and it's just... I can't even describe how amazing it is," she said after her victory. "I am the next Apprentice. I'm just so excited." This week's finale saw Brandy continuing to put together a VIP golf tournament featuring comedian Kathy Griffin while Clint organised a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Brandy was joined by Liza, Stephanie and Anand on her part of the challenge and Clint recruited Mahsa, Poppy and Steuart. As the episode began, Poppy and Mahsa continued to stress over the misspelling (more)...

Hi Apprentice fans! We’re almost at the finish line for The Apprentice and I couldn’t be more fascinated by all the excitement on this week’s episode. With the two finalists being announced and former contestants returning, the game is the most cutthroat it has ever been — just the way we all like it on reality TV!
Opening Boardroom
In order to select who the finalists would be, my father had the three remaining contestants join him in the boardroom and tell him why they each felt they deserved to be the next Apprentice. This was not an enviable place for Brandy,...

The first of the two-part finale on "The Apprentice" immediately saw the firing of Liza Mucheru. The December 2 episode started right after Steuart Martens was fired, during which Donald Trump ordered the three remaining contestants to come back to the boardroom for a second elimination.
Based on personalities, Trump decided to let go of Liza because while she was "outstanding in every way" she lacked on the interpersonal skills that would make her suitable for the Trump empire. After the elimination, Liza said, "I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close."
This left the finale to Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson who each had to team up with some of the fired contestants in the final task. Brandy picked Liza, Stephanie Castagnier and Anand Vasudev while Robert got Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy,...

Liza Mucheru has become the 13th candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 30-year-old Texas native was eliminated early in tonight's competition as Mr Trump further narrowed down the candidates as the competition neared the finale. The episode began with Brandy, Liza and Clint reflecting on their success in making it to the final three after Steuart's departure. However, their relief was short-lived when they were all called back to the boardroom by Mr Trump for an additional elimination. They were then given an opportunity to state the reasons why they believed they should be chosen to continue in the competition, with each citing their strong educational background and experience as markers of their worthiness. Mr Trump then fired Liza, explaining that while she was "outstanding in every way", her lack of interpersonal skills makes her undesirable as (more)...

Hi Apprentice fans! Happy Thanksgiving – I hope that you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving evening and your latest dose of The Apprentice. This week’s episode was one of the most intense of the season, with the pressure on, and the game-playing at an all time high! I am excited to share my thoughts with you and hear what you think.
Keep it Flexible
I was thrilled for Steuart as he got the chance to meet Cathie Black, Chairman of Hearst Magazines, NYC’s next school chancellor, and contributor to my book, The Trump Card. In my opinion, she is one of the most intelligent,...

On Thanksgiving night, "The Apprentice" aired the last episode before the live December finale, and revealed the top 3 contestants of season 10. Steuart Martens has become the 12th candidate fired from the competition, leaving Clint Robertson, Liza Mucheru-Wisner and Brandy Kuentzel in the run.
The four remaining contestants were challenged to market products by Isaac Mizrahi, and Donald Trump told them to divide by sex. Brandy and Liza took the side of Fortitude while the men teamed up for Octane. They were free to pick a product to be sold at QVC and must earn the biggest profit through careful calculation.
The women chose to sell watches while the other team chose purses. In the boardroom, Mizrahi told Mr. Trump that Octane gave too big a price tag to the purse while Fortitude under-priced the watch. When the result was revealed, Fortitude took bigger profit since they sold more products. The...

Steuart Martens has become the 12th candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 27-year-old Washington DC native was fired after he failed to achieve success in an Octane team of only himself and Clint in the QVC sales challenge. The episode began with Brandy expressing her amusement at Clint and Steuart's competition to "one up" each other as the final remaining men in the competition. The group then congratulated Liza for beating out Stephanie in the boardroom, but their celebration was cut short when Mr Trump came in to re-organise the teams into men versus women. This week's task called for the candidates to board two helicopters to go to Westchester, Pennsylvania where they would then work at QVC. The teams would then choose which products to sell and would have to present the items on air to achieve the highest profits. Clint took on the project...

Hi again Apprentice Fans! As we get closer to the finale, we’re seeing more action from the remaining contestants and another intense boardroom. Let’s dive into this week’s episode!
Genius and Goals
Clint’s reward for winning last week’s task was a meeting with Barry Sternlicht, the President, Chairman and CEO of Starwood Properties Trust. I know Barry well and he is a brilliant and very insightful person –and truly a terrific mentor. As expected, Clint was thrilled to meet with him, and Barry gave him some good advice. Barry’s theory is that “genius is...

Stephanie Castagnier has become the 11th candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 34-year-old banker was fired after she failed to adequately lead her Fortitude team of just two candidates to success in this week's TV advertising challenge. The episode began with the group discussing the events that took place in the boardroom, with Brandy admitting that her guard is now up after being targeted by Clint and Steuart in front of Mr Trump. Liza and Stephanie also bickered over Liza's accusation that Stephanie lies a lot about her approach to the game. This week's task called for the candidates to work with At&T and Flo TV in order to create a 30-second television commercial to get customers excited about the two companies' venture into mobile TV. The task would be judged on creativity, their ability to represent the brand well, and the clarity of the (more...

Hi Apprentice Fans! I was not kidding last week when I told you that The Apprentice is getting more surprising with each new episode. This week had another Apprentice first – the episode began with a boardroom …and a firing.
An Apprentice Shocker (and Fire #9)
My father had the two teams assemble in the boardroom at the beginning of the show, as he announced “I’ve just been given some very disturbing news.” It had been brought to his attention that Anand had been text-messaging people during the pedi-cab challenge in Episode 6. Anand had been asking friends to bring in money...

Hi Apprentice Fans! The Apprentice keeps getting more surprising with each new episode. This week I was unable to participate, but my brothers Don and Eric joined my father in re-configuring the teams and watching the new dynamics between players. Some fierce competition came out and I was so excited to see all of the action…
Distributing Some Great Advice
Larry Young, the CEO of Snapple met with last week’s winning Project Manager, Steuart. Since Steuart wants to go into the distribution business, it was an ideal opportunity for him and I think that he made the most of his time.

Hi again Apprentice fans! This week was our most exciting yet – full of surprise plot twists and game changers…and I really hope that you enjoyed watching.
Broadway Bound
One of New York’s main attractions is Broadway – the most famous theater district in the world and the most notoriously difficult place to “make it” in show business. To deliver the task this week, my father, Don and I met the remaining contestants at the famed Shubert Theatre on Broadway, where the Tony-award winning show Memphis is currently playing. My father saw it recently and loved it – so we thought...

Donald Trump called it "the strongest group of words I've ever heard on 'The Apprentice,'" (Thu., 10Pm Et on NBC).
After David's inappropriate behavior during the pedicab challenge, Octane teammate Clint told Trump that David was "the most classless, schizophrenic human I've ever met in my life. Dave cannot find his rear-end in the bathtub when it comes to business ... Win, lose or draw tonight, sir, I beg you -- I implore you -- to rid us of this plague." Steuart agreed with Clint's sentiments.
Ivanka Trump asked David what he would do in the next task if he didn't get fired. He said he'd make amends and change his game, but Clint was skeptical. "You couldn't get a job as an Oompa-Loompa making gobstoppers. You absolutely shouldn't be here." Would The Donald oblige?

Wade Hanson and Gene Folks have become the fifth and sixth candidates to be fired from The Apprentice. The men were eliminated after playing a major role in Team Octane's failure to find success during the Rockport fashion show challenge. The teams were instructed to put on a fashion show for Rockport shoes for potential buyers of the brand's upcoming Spring 2011 collection. Wade immediately stepped up as project manager for the men while Stephanie took on the role for the women. Team Octane David and Gene volunteered to Mc the evening. Wade then warned David to take the task seriously, which he promised to do. However, Clint expressed concerns about David taking on such a massive role. David later became angry with Gene when the latter struggled to prepare in a timely manner. Steuart and Anand took on the role of meeting with the potential models and taking them (more...
