Lately there are so many films being adapted from the comic book medium that it’s getting rare when you find a weekend box office report that’s not emblazoned with a hero in a cape. Today’s westerns really are superhero flicks, and sometimes I wonder how long that will last. A nice twist I came across today was reading Viper Comics’ Five Senses. This is the first time I sat down and read a comic and just wished the entire time that it was already a movie. And that’s not saying that the art or layout in the comic was at all lacking, hell no, it’s sharp as hell. It’s just that the story brought to us by writer Jake Black and artist Justin Wayne is so well presented that I could see it as a movie.

Once again, a look into the future, with some very interesting looks at the past, including the reprinting of a comic that was never released in America in the first place, the infamous Elseworlds 80 Page Giant that was pulped because of concerns about Superman’s babysitter.
And of course, a whole lot of #3 issues, which is traditionally the issue where Spider-Man guest stars.
Shall we? Surely!
As usual, spoilers may lurk beyond this point.
