“The Dad Quest” is a Mexican film on Netflix that revisits the father-son dynamic to pose a curious question: is the bond between father and child shaped by biology, or does it come through memories and shared experiences?
“The Dad Quest” presents these questions again to offer us one of those movies that always work: a film with a charming child who doesn’t have a good relationship with his father, and who, through the narrative process of the movie, will confront these problems to solve them.
It’s a classic formula that its director, Salvador Espinosa, approaches in the most traditional way, without eccentricities in terms of form or narrative. “The Dad Quest” gives us exactly what we expect to see, in the way we expect to see it, and resolves the matter as we anticipate.
Are you expecting a family movie? Well, here it is.

It should surprise no one that Bad Bunny decided to drop the long-anticipated music video for “LA MuDANZA” on his 31st birthday. The song is a riotous salsa track that — like one of DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ other mega hits, “Baile INoLVIDABLE” — borrows from the salsa gorda era of the genre. It’s deeply personal, too: It opens with a spoken word snippet of Benito retelling the story of how his parents came of age in the Nineties, crossed paths serendipitously, and eventually had the kid who is now an international superstar.

Bad Bunny is never leaving Puerto Rico. To celebrate his 31st birthday, the reggaeton star shared the video for “La Mudanza,” which stresses his eternal love for his native island and his family’s history.
The video opens with Bad Bunny reciting the story behind his family tree as old-school photos of his ancestors flash onscreen. Then, baby Benito is born. The video sees Bad Bunny’s fictional parents (his brother Bernie plays his dad) as they drive the newborn through a sunrise after coming into the world.

For at least the first half of Carry-On, I often noticed my thoughts wandering away from the action onscreen. This is something I pay attention to more closely when watching to review – it's always notable when a movie doesn't hold your focus, even if it's not always to blame. But I was more aware of it than usual this time because I wasn't thinking about my day, or my next meal, or what I had to do tomorrow. My wandering thoughts never really left the movie. I was not thinking about Carry-On the story, but Carry-On the story vehicle.

Anonymous Content and Spain’s Morena Films, behind box office breakouts “Cell 211” and Champions, have named former Studiocanal executive Beatriz Campos as the managing director of their Spain-based film-tv production venture Anonymous Content España.
Campos will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations working closely with David Davoli, Anonymous Content’s president of international, and Morena Films CEO Pilar Benito, Anonymous Content and Morena Films announced Monday. Launched in May 2023, Anonymous Content España aims to develop and produce premium Spanish projects for a global market.
That is easily said, but several factors work in its favor and will be aided now by Campos’ appointment. As film and TV producers still battle a hugely competitive market and spiralling production costs, companies are reaching out for partners beyond national markets, a structure embodied in Anonymous Content España. Anonymous can also help Morena access U.S.-stars, which may allow their productions to stand out in the crowd.

Bad Bunny just shared some hot new photos on social media!
The 29-year-old entertainer dropped a slideshow of pics on Friday afternoon (February 2) while taking a bubble bath.
Benito‘s new pics show off his shirtless body, the tattoos that flank his body, and there’s even one that shows off his legs, with just some bubbles covering up his private area.
Check out all of the photos inside…
“baño,” he simply captioned the pics on Instagram, which, of course, translates to bathroom in English.
Within the hour of posting the selfies, the singer/rapper’s comments were flooded with fans thirsting over the new pics.
These new photos come just a month after Bad Bunny reunited with ex Kendall Jenner, where they reportedly celebrated New Year’s together, along with a group of friends.

After the release of 2017’s “Darkest Hour,” filmmaker Joe Wright was living the dream. His film was nominated for six Oscars (winning two), and it appeared he was going to enter the conversation as one of the best filmmakers working today. Unfortunately, the drama surrounding his follow-up (“The Woman in the Window”) overshadowed the actual content (which itself wasn’t beloved) and led to perhaps one of the lowest points in his acclaimed career.

Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner went semi-Instagram official. On Saturday, the Puerto Rican rapper took to his Instagram Stories to share a series of videos, riding through the Coachella fair grounds. In the first clip, the rapper recorded himself as he rode in the golf cart and sang along to friend, and collaborator, J Balvin.
Turning up the speed and vibes, the rapper, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, sang along to Lil Baby in the next clip.
In the third video, Bad Bunny — still singing along to the music — took a wild turn, prompting Kendall’s reaction.

Kendall Jenner looked like she was ready to go to la playa, after movin’ and groovin’ to Bad Bunny‘s performance Friday night at Coachella.
The 27-year-old supermodel was seen dancing at the Empire Polo Club grounds in Indio, California as Benito belted out “Depués de la Playa.” During his headlining performance, Jenner danced while surrounded by a group of friends. Her muscle was there, too, but they blended in nicely donning an all-black attire.
Jenner was seen in an oversized black jacket over a white top, a denim skirt and black boots. She smiled as she moved her hips to the beat before putting her arms around a girlfriend.

Bad Bunny took Coachella’s main stage on Friday night, becoming the first Latin artist to headline the music festival.
From the moment the gates opened, the fervor for Bad Bunny was noticeable. His fans showed up in droves in the early hours of the day, and plenty of Bad Bunny merch was donned (there was even a fan walking around with a comically supersized Benito head).
When the Puerto Rican artist finally took shortly after 11:30 p.m. local time, it was evident that this was no ordinary performance for him. A pre-show film highlighted Coachella lineups over the years, and how multiple undercard acts have gone on to headline — Bad Bunny included. He then arrived stage elevated above the sea of fans and launched into Un Verano Sin Ti favorite “Tití Me Preguntó”
From then on out, Bad Bunny burned through hit after hit in a memorable evening of Latin trap and pop.

After the new couple was seen on multiple dates, fans were shocked to learn about Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny’s budding relationship. They seem to be getting serious and showing fans it’s not a fling after Bad Bunny dissed Jenner’s basketball-star ex Devin Booker on a feature for a new track, “Coco Chanel.”

Benito has officially entered the world of Gorillaz. The Puerto Rican star is featured on a new collaboration with the band called “Tormenta,” featured on the album Cracker Island that the group released Friday. There's really no denying at this point, that Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti" was 2022's biggest album of the year. Not only did it make Billboard's number-one spot for 13 consecutive weeks, but it was also streamed 4.6 billion times in just the U.S. The record-breaking album moved the equivalent of 273,000 units in streams and downloads with two singles breaking one billion streams: "Tití Me Pregunto" with 1.4 billion and "Me Porto Bonito" with 1.5. "Un Verano Sin Ti" has made history and yet it continues to get snubbed an Album of the Year award. But tonight, at the 2023 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards broadcasting live via Univision, "El Conejo Malo" finally received the honor of being awarded the Álbum Del Año (Album of The Year) award, and it's about freaking time!

Unlike some of his past top-secret projects, Bad Bunny began dropping clues that he was working on his record-smashing album Un Verano Sin Ti months before it came out. He left little dispatches from a remote island on his Instagram and hinted at a breezy beach theme he was playing with starting in January. But even though he’d tipped fans off just a bit, he managed to pack jaw-dropping surprises onto the album when it came out in May, loading it with bright, adventurous sounds and unexpected collaborations with experimental producers,...

On Friday, Bad Bunny released the highly anticipated music video for “El Apagón,” a spirited ode to Puerto Rico that addresses several of the socioeconomic issues affecting the archipelago. The song takes its title from the rolling blackouts that have plagued Puerto Ricans, especially after Hurricane María struck exactly five years ago. But, never one to shy away from what’s happening in Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny surprised many by going much deeper into the track’s subject matter and including an entire 18-minute documentary at the end of the video.
