Helldivers 2 is in a rough spot right now and Arrowhead Game Studios is struggling to keep the game afloat. PlayStation 5 and PC users are noticing a drastic decline in quality, and some of them have given up the fight for democracy, which leaves the war effort in need of extra manpower.
Fortunately, there is an untapped platform of dedicated players on Xbox. The players have been begging for the developers to port the game on their platform, but Sony is still in control, however, there is a potential slim chance of it being ported if the publisher is unhappy with the player count.

PlayStation could be making some changes sometime soon and the gaming community has a good guess of what it might be. Gaming handhelds are all the rage and many seem to suggest it is the future of gaming which makes sense for Sony and Microsoft to get a slice.
Many think it is high time for Sony to develop a new PlayStation handheld device, the company made a few in the past that were ahead of their time. It would be wise for major gaming companies to adapt to the current climate and give the players something they have been asking for.
Sony Is Seemingly Going All-Out With the Rumored PlayStation Handheld
Sony is reportedly working on a portable handheld as per a job listing.
It is exciting to think that players can boot up a triple-a game through a tiny handheld device with the horsepower of a decent gaming PC.

Xbox is the talk of the town after recent controversies relating to the shutdowns of multiple game studios. The gaming company has made questionable decisions that have proven Colin Moriarty was right to not trust Phil Spencer and his subscription-based gaming plans for the brand.
Moriarty was a firm believer that Game Pass was counterproductive to the industry and there were consequences for this. Many members of the gaming community have grown comfortable with the service because of the convenience, but it is a massive thorn for game developers.
Moriarty Was Right About Spencer and Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass may be a massive win for the game community but it quickly became a problem for the developers.
Microsoft has always had a strong focus on leaping into the future by implementing more experimental and unconventional methods of gaming like cloud gaming and subscription-based services. However, there is a significant downside,...

The PS5 Pro could be a powerful PlayStation powerhouse and a massive Xbox problem. In the past, companies like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft have gladly re-released the similar products with minor changes that function like the original model. However, having a mid-range bump is a new move that was first seen in the last generation.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 had multiple variations in their lifetime, and some would say those consoles gradually got worse over time with each release. In many ways, the PS4 and Xbox One did the same, and then some.
The PS5 Pro was a moniker given by fans as they could already tell Sony was planning on replicating the success the last gen had with the release of the PS4 Pro and Slim. It has already been nearly 4 years since the launch of the PS5. And while it was a major leap from the PS4, recent...

“Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended.”
If there’s one video game remaster that’s been long overdue, FromSoftware’s phenomenal PlayStation 3 dungeon-crawler action-rpg exclusive, Demon’s Souls, would be pretty high up on everybody’s list, right? Well, luckily for us, it’s looking likely that a remaster of the seminal title that kickstarted the whole Soulsborne subgenre may well be on the way to PS4 after all.
During the most recent episode of Sacred Symbols: A PlayStation Podcast, host Colin Moriarty – a former IGN senior editor with a notable history of reporting on PlayStation – seemingly teased that a remaster of Demon’s Souls is indeed in the works for PS4, and that it’s likely that the unannounced action-rpg may even be announced very soon.
“There was one game in particular, a remaster coming out for PlayStation 4, that I thought they [Sony] were going...

In general, the YouTube community has displayed itself to be left-leaning in the wake of Donald Trump’s ascension to the presidency, but within one of the video site’s largest communities, political leanings tend to be a bit more complicated. A recent culture clash concerned the Kinda Funny YouTube channel, founded in 2015 by former IGN employees, which opted to say goodbye to co-founder Colin Moriarty less than a week after he shared a controversial tweet regarding International Women’s Day.
On March 8th, Moriarty tweeted a joke about his day without a woman. His followers responded negatively both to the quality of his joke and its subject matter.
As Kotaku notes, Moriarty’s conservative political leanings have at times put him at odds with the other members of the Kinda Funny team, and his latest tweet brought his conversations with his colleagues to a head. “This morning, the guys...

On Tuesday, May 13, Microsoft revealed plans to sell the Xbox One without Kinect at a $400 price point as early as June 9 of this year. Coming down from $500, this places Microsoft’s latest platform at the same console cost as Sony’s Playstation 4. According to Ms, the decision comes from user feedback. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox at Microsoft still claims, “Kinect remains an important part of our vision,” stating that the Kinect is “an important differentiator” for the One.
While this move is contrary to the statement Ms made in February, it hardly seems to matter if it is going to help sales and potentially even console performance. As Digital Foundry has found and can prove, ten percent of the Xbox One’s graphic capabilities are kept on reserve for the Kinect and other apps. With Kinect functionality now optional, that reserve can potentially be distributed throughout the consoles other functions,...
