The much awaited last season of one of the most successful series of the decade signaled a number of changes. Mappa Studio took over the production, which was chief directed by Jun Shishido, and directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, replacing Tetsuro Araki and Masashi Koizuka respectively. Scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko took over the series composition from Yasuko Kobayashi, and Tomohiro Kishi replaced Kyoji Asano as character designer. Furthermore, the beginning of the series takes place four years after the events of the third, and the focus, this time, is on the situation on Marley, following Gabi Braun and Falco Grice, young Eldian Warrior candidates seeking to inherit Reiner’s Armored Titan after the failed mission to claim the Founding Titan. As Marley’s dominance over competing nations begins to weaken due to the development of anti-titan weaponry, they plan to invade Paradis to develop their military using the resources on the island...

Warning: The following Review will contain some minor spoilers for Season 1 & Season 2 of the “Attack on Titan” anime.
Following the events at the end of Season 1 of Attack on Titan, Eren and the rest of Humanity’s last stand are about to face their biggest challenge yet.
Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening is the official Season 2 recap movie which condenses the entire story arc from the hit anime series’ second explosive season from just over four hours to a streamlined two hour runtime. It is the first AoT movie to hit UK shores as the previous two (which condensed the events of Part 1 & 2 of Season 1) never made it out over here (which is strange considering how immensely popular the product is with UK audiences).
As a huge fan of the anime, my key questions and concerns heading into this film were:

Probably the most popular anime title at the moment, globally, “Attack on Titan” second season continues to thrill in the same fashion as the first one, in 12 episodes this time.

For those not familiar with the franchise, “Attack on Titan” is based on Hajime Isayama’s New York Times best-selling manga with over 2.5 million copies in print, and tells the story of humanity’s last remnants, sheltered behind large “walls” in fear of the giant humanoid “Titans” who hunt them. When the wall is breached and Eren Jaeger’s mother is killed, the young man enlists in the Scout Regiment, the military’s front line in their war to reclaim humanity’s home, angrily declaring that he’ll kill all the Titans.
In the second season, the story continues right where the first one left off, just after the fight with the female Titan, which revealed a...

Attack on Titan season two has finally gotten a premiere date! During the "Shingeki Matsuri" event that took place over the weekend, it was announced that season two of Attack on Titan will premiere in the spring 2017. They also released an Attack on Titan promo image, along with a list of the cast and crew who will be involved with the second season.
Fans have been waiting for this series for way too long. I’m still bummed that we have to continue to wait until 2017. and all I have to say is that season two better be worth the wait and the patience. The series was supposed to premiere this year, but it was postponed.
Below you'll find a list of the cast and crew. Hopefully, they will deliver a second season that will be absolutely mind-blowing.
The Crew:
