The Wade family had a special Easter celebration on April 9. Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, and their 4-year-old daughter, Kaavia, sat courtside to support Wade's longtime teammate and Kaavia's godfather, Udonis Haslem, as he played his final season regular game following a 20-year career. Former Miami Heat teammates and supporters gathered for the game against the Orlando Magic to commemorate the veteran NBA player's farewell.
Subtly coordinating in matching outfits, Wade wore a red Valentino windbreaker and shorts, while Kaavia dressed in a white tank, black leather shorts, and mini red Jordans, made even more adorable with Easter bunny ears. Gabrielle, on the other hand, wore a casual black slip dress with sandals.
In photos and videos shared by her parents on social media, Kaavia was seen wearing a jersey with Haslem's name and number during the game, and afterward, hugging her godfather, who thanked the talented tot for attending the event.

A host of Hollywood and sports celebrities including Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen and Larry David were named as defendants in a class-action lawsuit against cryptocurrency exchange Ftx, arguing that their celebrity status made them culpable for promoting the firm’s failed business model.
Ftx has been in the public eye for more than a week, after the third-largest cryptocurrency exchange ended up with billions of dollars worth of losses and had to seek bankruptcy protection on Friday. The Bahamas-based company and its founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, are under investigation by state and federal authorities for allegedly investing depositors funds in ventures without their approval.
Lawmakers also announced plans to investigate the failure of Ftx, with the House Financial Services Committee saying it plans to hold a hearing on Ftx in December.

Thursday’s NBA playoff schedule, and perhaps the entire playoffs, still hang in the balance, as a meeting of NBA players and coaches Wednesday failed to reach a concensus on next steps.
One top NBA writer said the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers both voted to end the season without continuing. The other teams allegedly wanted to play on.
Wednesday’s NBA playoff games were postponed when the Milwaukee Bucks – the team nearest Kenosha, Wisconsin, where the Jacob Blake shooting incident that sparked protests and looting took place – decided not to play their game. The NBA has not said when those games would be made up.
Players and coaches met for three hours today without reaching a conclusion, and discussed whether the season should continue. A person with knowledge of the meeting told the Associated Press that no decisions were reached.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, who once was infamously told to “shut up and dribble” when he talked about politics, is now stepping into the topic in a major way. Along with several other entertainment stars and prominent athletes, he is forming a new political action group aimed at protecting African-Americans’ voting rights and encouraging them to turn out to vote.
The “More Than a Vote” organization will focus on African-American voter registration and ballot casting in November’s elections. Already enlisted in the cause are actor Kevin Hart and basketball stars Trae Young, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jalen Rose, Draymond Green, and Udonis Haslem, as well as NFL running back Alvin Kamara. James reportedly is also attempting to recruit prominent musicians.
“Because of everything that’s going on, people are finally starting to listen to us — we feel like we’re finally getting a foot in the door,” James said to the New York Times.
