Los Angeles, CA (August 4, 2014) – Cracked, one of the United States’ longest running humor institutions has announced its new web series from Cracked Studios entitled Antiheroes. The new 5 episode web series premieres on today.
Antiheroes follows a hilarious, semi-functional group of slackers at a debt collection agency who are inadvertently blessed (cursed?) with superpowers. The Workoholics meets Heroes comedy focuses on this powered group of coworkers going out of their way to not use their powers to fight crime, because fighting crime looks “just, like, way too hard, man.”
Writer Cody Johnston says, “We saw The Avengers and wondered why no one ever tried to take a little nap or just dick around on their phone to unwind, so we made this. We’re hoping Thor is introduced to the concept of ‘vegging out’ in Avengers 2, but in the meantime we hope you enjoy our fun, action-packed series that was made...

Guys, it's more important than ever that we protect the future. You hear that, Mitt Romney? You hear that, Barack Hussein Obama? Quit talking about healthcare and the deficit. The most important priority right now is to see that we don't end up like the Jetsons.
When Hanna-Barbera first created "The Jetsons," it was intended to be a contrast to "The Flintstones" as a commentary on modern society by juxtaposing contemporary concerns through the lens of our past and future. (Either that, or because spaceship go vroom-vroom.) But as Cracked.com's Soren Bowie and Cody Johnston point out, the reality was much more terrifying. For instance, how come we never see the ground? Why does George never seem to work very hard? And where are the animals?!
And that's before we even get to the mind-blowing fact that if the Flintstones met the Jetsons, that means they take place in the same timeline.

Cracked: After Hours is a casual argument between fanboy/girl friends taken to logical and logistical extremes. The second season of the original web series from Cracked and its parent company Demand Media debuted earlier this month and provides viewers with its familiar, critical take on iconic video game, movie, and/or comic book characters by way of sometimes witty, other times aggressive, and all times insightfully geeky conversation. The season opener, for instance, discusses whether or not Mario, every child of the Nes Generation's favorite Italian plumber, is actually a complete d-bag. The program features a foursome comprised of Craked regulars - Dan O’Brien, Katie Willert, Michael Swaim, and Soren Bowie - who sit around a table at the Los Feliz Cafe in Los Angeles, and serve up dialogue over cutaways to quick clips, photos, and/or short animated scenes, which further articulare their arguments. The online original...

[1] I'm sure you've all heard of Cracked.com, one of my favorite sites for killing fifteen minutes... or fifty. I tend to find their unique blend of humor, geekery, and plain ol' smarts to be downright addictive, and before I know it, I'll have wasted a sizable chunk of my work day just hopping from link to link. (Sorry, Peter!) On the plus side, I've usually learned a thing or two by the end of my visit. I generally find myself browsing their lists, but their videos are reliably enjoyable as well. The After Hours series features Daniel O'Brien, Katie Willert, Soren Bowie and Michael Swaim getting together at Pat & Lorraine's in Los Angeles in order to pick apart topics like classic movie high schools [2], fun apocalypses [3], and things that kind of suck about the Harry Potter universe [4]. The latest installment is "Why Star Wars is Secretly Terrifying for Women,...
