A simple twist of fate changed the lives of Deb Dobkins (Brooke D’Orsay) and Jane Bingham (Brooke Elliott) forever. Deb died and, after mistakenly pushing the wrong button at Heaven’s door, returned in the body of Jane. This meant one thing: Deb as Jane needed a guardian angel. For the first couple of seasons of Drop Dead Diva, Jane was under the watchful eye of her guardian angels Fred (Ben Feldman), then Luke (Carter MacIntyre). But Jane proved to be a bit more of a handful than either anticipated. Now trying his luck in protecting Jane is the latest angel on watch, the enthusiastic Paul (Justin Deeley). In a recent exclusive interview, star Justin Deeley talked about his new role as Paul, guardian angel and newest employee at the firm of Kaswell & French.

Drop Dead Diva is enjoying one of its strongest seasons and while it ranks as the number-one drama across ad-supported cable in its time slot (according to a Lifetime press release) and regularly draws more viewers than Project Runway, creator Josh Berman and the long-running series still await that fifth season pick-up.
While fans do the same, Berman talked to Jim Halterman earlier this week and teased the upcoming season finale while also touting tonight’s all-new episode, which features series regular Margaret Cho (Teri) revealing a musical persona named "Lady Bodacious."
-------------------------------------------
“Margaret is such a fun person to write for," Berman said. "She got nominated for an Emmy this year for 30 Rock and we thought ‘I’d love to see her play a persona more like Lady Gaga,’ which is a lot more like Margaret Cho, someone who is just bold and bodacious so out of that grew the persona Lady Bodacious.

Drop Dead Diva returns to Lifetime on Sunday (9 p.m. Et), and after three seasons of Jane (Brooke Elliott) pining for Grayson (Jackson Hurst) — the man she was engaged to as model Deb, before Deb died and her spirit entered attorney Jane’s body — the tables will turn. Last we saw Grayson, Deb/Jane’s best friend Stacy (April Bowlby) had informed him “I’m not Deb, Jane is,” and now, he’s the one smitten. The problem: Jane saw Grayson kiss Stacy in a moment of missing Deb, and she went to Italy with Owen (Lex Medlin), with whom she’s now happy.

Put away your firearms, Mikita 'shippers. The return of Owen on Thursday's Nikita won't necessarily doom Michael and Nikita's recent relationship breakthrough.
"I don't think there's a Nikita-Owen love thing going on, not in this episode," Devon Sawa tells TVGuide.com. "Owen's head is too cloudy, too foggy to even think about that kind of thing right now. So unless my character returns, Mikita is a safe thing."

Aim: Giamatti, Bellucci gun for NL 'Shoot'
Paul Giamatti and Monica Bellucci are in early negotiations to join Clive Owen in New Line Cinema's Shoot 'Em Up, a hard-core action project from screenwriter-director Michael Davis. Don Murphy, Susan Montford and Rick Benattar are producing. The story begins with a woman having a baby during a shootout. The man who delivers the baby, called simply Mr. Smith (Owen), is entrusted with protecting it from an army of gunmen. Giamatti would play the villain who wants the baby dead, and Bellucci would be Owen Love's interest.
