Kevin Hart is taking a leaf out of Peyton and Eli Manning’s playbook.
The comedian is to host a Manningcast-style alternate broadcast for the NBA’s new in-season tournament. NBA Unplugged with Kevin Hart, which comes from Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Hart’s own Hartbeat, will air on ESPN2 on December 9
Hart will host alongside the Plastic Cup Boyz: Joey Wells, Will Horton and Na’im Lynn with special guest appearances from athletes and celebrities, much like the Manningcast has for the NFL.
After the In-Season Tournament Championship Game broadcast, seven episodes will air throughout the season tied to marquee NBA games on ESPN platforms including the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers in January and Dallas Mavericks vs. Miami Heat in April.
Hart has previously appeared on the Manningcast where the brothers mocked Hart for his height and Hart retorted that the Mannings actually hate each other.

Stars: Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Keith David, Anne Winters, Taran Killam, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Romany Malco, Ben Schwartz, Rob Riggle | Written by Kevin Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matthew Kellard, Nicholas Stoller, John Hamburg | Directed by Malcolm D. Lee
Tiffany Haddish and her Girls Trip director Malcolm D. Lee reteam in the Kevin Hart produced star vehicle Night School. A film which epitomises Hart’s career at the moment as an average simplistic venture into comedy that offers very little in the wake of either originality or personality, yet the recipient of financial success with such a weak time for the genre available for audiences to indulge and celebrate.
Night School is as straightforward and inconsequential, both contextually and conceptually, as one can imagine for such a venture. It is a grab and run sort of operation at the core of production. A cash grab if you will.

Chicago – “Night School” is the latest undistinguished product to come off the Kevin Hart assembly line. If you’re a fan of Hart’s motormouthed and hyperactive small time schtick, you’ll find that this will just barely passed the test. But if you’re not, this movie won’t change anyone’s mind.

Hart stars as a high school dropout named Teddy whose dreams of operating his own his own BBQ grill store literally goes up in flames. Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart’s upcoming comedy is studying up for an A+ opening.
Haddish and Hart’s “Night School” is heading for a debut around $25 million in the Sept. 28-30 weekend, early tracking showed Thursday. Warner Bros.’ animated “Smallfoot” is eyeing similar numbers in its opening that same weekend.
Universal’s “Night School” is the first lead role for Haddish since she broke out in “Girls Trip” last year. She plays a no-nonsense teacher heading adult instruction at a high school with Hart as a particularly hapless student, told at one point that he is “clinically dumb.”
Tracking for “Night School” ranges from $21 million to $34 million. The film is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, who directed Haddish in “Girls Trip,” which opened to $31.2 million on July 21-23, 2017, its way to $115 million domestically. Hart produces via his Hartbeat Productions banner and Will Packer is producing for his Will Packer Productions.

Kevin Hart is meeting his match — and then some — with Tiffany Haddish in the first trailer for Universal’s comedy “Night School.”
Hart’s character is forced to enroll in high school to get his Ged after he causes an explosion at his business. Haddish is his no-nonsense night school teacher, who explains that she’s taken the gig so she can “make a little cash so that I can afford this warrant I got.”
Hart struggles with the material and Haddish, after attempting to help him, tells him flatly, “You are clinically dumb.”
The trailer also features Taran Killam as a principal with a tendency to “talk black” and then deny that he’s done so, and Ben Schwartz, an investment adviser and Hart’s friend, who wants to give his friend a job but can’t until he passes his Ged. Mary Lynn Rajskub, Rob Riggle and Yvonne Orji also star.

Universal’s upcoming action-comedy Night School has found its heart.
That’s Kevin Hart, star of Central Intelligence and the Ride Along series, who has entered negotiations to co-write, produce and headline the pic as an imbecile forced to return to the unforgiving world of education to attain his Ged exam. Think Billy Madison with a modern twist and you’ll begin to get a sense of what Universal has in store.
To date, the project has attracted Tim Story (Ride Along) to direct, with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard and Hart himself all poised to leverage script duties between them. THR’s report also credits Nick Stoller as one of the screenwriters who’s enrolled in Night School.
As for the elevator pitch, we understand Tim Story’s romp follows “a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they’ll pass the Ged exam.

Summit Entertainment's sent along the poster and images which we've added to the gallery for the Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain documentary. The film directed by Leslie Small and Tim Story, captures the laughter, energy and mayhem from Hart's 2012 "Let Me Explain" concert tour, which spanned 10 countries and 80 cities, and generated over $32 million in ticket sales. Although there aren't a lot of images, we felt we had to share them with you in any case, since the comedian has a massive fan base, and is quite uproariously funny. Let Me Explain is written by Hart, Harry Ratchford and Joey Wells, and produced by Jeff Clanagan. Pic's executive-produced by Leland "Pookey" Wigington, Dave Becky, Quincy Newwell, Michael Godfine and Hart.
