The city of Pittsburgh gathered on Tuesday, September 11, to remember Mac Miller at the place he shined a national light on, Frick Park. The 26-year-old rapper died Friday, September 7, at his Los Angeles home of an apparent overdose.

Allison Janney ("The West Wing," "The Way Way Back") has joined Campbell Scott's indie film adaptation of Joan Didion's 1977 novel "A Book of Common Prayer".
Christina Hendricks ("Mad Men," "Drive") plays an American woman who arrives in a fictional Central American country on the verge of revolution in the hopes of being reunited with her fugitive 19-year-old daughter.
Janney plays an anthropologist who married into the ruling family of the country. Scott also stars in the film as the husband of Hendricks's character, while Hart Bochner will play the missing daughter's father.
Marcia Weiss is producing and filming begins in June.

The Mad Men star will play the lead role of Charlotte Douglas in Campbell Scott's adaptation of Joan Didion's 1977 novel, Variety reports.
Didion's book focuses on an American woman who journeys to a fictional Central American country, believing that she will be reunited with her 19-year-old fugitive daughter there.
"We are thrilled that Christina has agreed to come on board to play the lead role of Charlotte Douglas," Scott and producer Marcia Weiss said. "Charlotte is a complex and compelling character and Christina is the perfect actor to play her."
Meanwhile, Hendricks is due to re-team with her Drive co-star Ryan Gosling on his directorial debut How to Catch a Monster.
A Book of Common Prayer will be adapted for cinema by Joyce McKee and Rachel LeMin.
