So what was Quintavius “Q” Burdette thinking in the latest episode of “Survivor 46?” The preceding installment became evident that both him and Venus Vafa were spiraling with false overconfidence and overexposed gameplay, and they continued to double down in this episode, “Hide ‘N Seek,” the former especially in what was a lively and consequential tribal council. Yet once again, neither were voted out as tribal lines and alliances continue to be blurred and players start to gun for their allies. Let’s break it all down as a myriad of events transpired to lead up to a blindside in the eighth episode of “Survivor 46.”
Just like after the last tribal council, not wasting any time, Venus immediately exposed Tevin Davis in front of everybody for voting for her and proudly took credit for the blindside of Sodasia “Soda” Thompson, though it was revealed that Tevin’s vote for Soda was...

The new episode began with the final 10 players reacting to what happened at Tribal Council. Ben Katzman was hurt from losing his friend Tim.
Q Burdette spoke during a confessional about how he was frustrated with people giggling and having fun after the big vote.
Kenzie Petty, Q, and Tiffany Ervin were shocked Soda got eliminated instead of Venus Vafa. They were also shocked that Venus took credit for the vote.

Heading into the eighth episode of “Survivor 46,” the remaining contestants had just attended two separate tribal councils where they eliminated both Tim Spicer and Soda Thompson. That left 10 people still in the game: four from the original Nami tribe, three from the original Siga tribe, and three from the original Yanu tribe. So which unlucky castaway had their torch snuffed by host Jeff Probst this week?

Many things went wrong in the seventh episode of “Survivor 46” for many contestants: aggressive gameplay, unnecessary revelations, poor communication and naive strategy, all taking place in anticipation of a double tribal and the players being split into two groups. There’s a lot of ground to cover in “Episode Several,” so let’s break down all of the drama that led to two major blindsides.
Right on cue, Venus Vafa wasted no time trying to find out who was the lone vote for her in the last tribal council, immediately confident that it was Sodasia “Soda” Thompson, as they have had a rocky relationship in this game. But then Charlie Davis came clean admitting to her that he was the vote, to the immense annoyance of Quintavius “Q” Burdette, who pulled him aside and coached him for why that was a mistake. A double-elimination episode ended Soda Thompson’s journey on Survivor 46. It was an unfortunate ending for her, but at least she made it to the jury phase.
Now Soda is reminiscing about her time in Fiji and touching on her gameplay, an odd relationship with Venus Vafa, and how she’s doing.
Here is a full recap of the episode that saw Soda and Tim Spicer voted out. Tim was sent home as the last person to be eliminated before the jury phase.
“I was very shocked. I keep saying this, but it’s like taking a pill and getting out of the Matrix,” Soda told Parade about the blindside.
“You’re all of a sudden awake, like you’ve been on this ride. And now, ‘Bloop!’ It’s out. And you’re like, ‘Wait, wait, wait, what? Okay, back to the real world. Oh my god, this is so sad.

Survivor 46, Episode 8 takes the show into its homestretch.
Only 10 people are left competing for the $1 million prize, and things are getting spicey.
Viewers will also see the first Survivor 46 Tribal Council with a jury member.
During the previous episode, two people were eliminated in successive Tribal Councils. The Immunity Challenge split the castaways into two groups of six. Each group then had to vote someone out.
The Tribal Councils were pretty dramatic, beginning with Tim Spicer becoming the last person eliminated before the jury phase.
At the second Tribal Council for the April 10 episode, Soda Thompson got completely blindsided. It was a shocking end to her game – and one that Venus Vafa took credit for as she got up to have her torch snuffed by Jeff.

In the latest “Survivor 46” deleted scene (watch above), Q Burdette gives his personal assessment about each of the players still in the game. It’s the morning of Day 14 at the Nuinui tribe, before host Jeff Probst temporarily splits the 12 remaining castaways into two separate groups. Q claims that he’s “always had this gift to connect with people,” and he uses it to gain “trust” and “get information” from those around him. “In this game, I’ve got a little bit of information from everybody,” the 29-year-old real estate agent from Tennessee tells the camera. “And now I can put the pieces of the puzzle together.”
Q then lists off certain quality traits he has noticed about everyone around him, including most notably Venus Vafa. He really doesn’t hold back when it comes to the 24-year-old data analyst from Toronto, likening her to a scaly reptile with fangs.

On Wednesday’s seventh episode of “Survivor 46,” two groups of six attended two different Tribal Councils where two players had immunity and two players were eliminated. Read on for Tim’s “Survivor 46” exit interview from the end of the episode.

A new episode of Survivor saw the end of two castaways in Fiji.
There was immediate drama as Venus Vafa was upset that someone had voted for her at the previous Tribal Council.
Everyone else voted for Moriah Gaynor, who got sent packing before the merge was complete.
Venus accused Soda Thompson of voting for her, but it wasn’t Soda who did it. Q was pleased this was happening, but it was short-lived.
Feeling tension at camp, Charlie Davis came clean about voting for Venus. It led to Q Burdette pulling Charlie aside and telling him it was a bad game move. Suddenly, Charlie was then gunning for Q.
Ben Katzman suffered a panic attack after waking up in the middle of the night. He was calmed down by Kenzie Petty, who gave a confessional about how she was well-versed in anxiety.

Survivor 46 has a dramatic night in store for the first post-merge episode.
Moriah Gaynor was eliminated before the Survivor 46 castaways united as one tribe. She became the final person sent home before the merge.
She was the second straight person from Siga who got sent packing, as she joined Jem Hussain-Adams, who failed to make the jury stage.
Only 12 people remain in contention for the $1 million prize when Survivor 46, Episode 7 begins.
People are suspicious of the rogue vote that resulted in Moriah’s Tribal Council elimination.

The tribes converged – though didn’t officially merge – at the start of last week’s episode of “Survivor 46,” resulting in a race against time for one castaway to find an idol, and the standard immunity challenge making half the members safe, complicating the impending vote. And where do players now stand now that they are all on one beach? Let’s break down Season 46 Episode 6, “Cancel Christmas,” as the three individual tribes are no more.
After the shocking blindside of Jemila “Jem” Hussain-Adams on the Siga tribe, Moriah Gaynor felt on the outs as she was the only one who didn’t vote for her, but Siga agreed to put on a united front when the tribes came together for the strategic longevity of all of them, given that it is likely that their five will be going up against the quintet of Nami, leaving the threesome of Yanu in the middle.

On Wednesday’s sixth episode of “Survivor 46,” the three tribes advanced to the “limbo” stage of the new era where they’d compete in randomized groups for immunity and to earn their spot in the soon-to-be-merged tribe. A lopsided, albeit random, rock draw left Moriah Gaynor in one of the vulnerable positions and then her own original Siga tribe joined every other player to unanimously vote her out of the game. Read on for Moriah’s “Survivor 46” exit interview from the end of the episode.
After being blindsided by the other Siga players when they banded together to blindside Jemila “Jem” Hussain-Adams and leave her out of that plan, Moriah knew that she was on the bottom of their tribal alliance going into the merge. And yet, when the three tribes came together, Moriah played along with the Siga story that they all, including Moriah, unanimously voted against Jem and were a united front.

In this week’s “Survivor 46” sneak peek video for Episode 6 (watch above), Yanu tribe members Kenzie Petty, Q Burdette and Tiffany Nicole Ervin receive a note suggesting that the merge is imminent. “It’s Day 12 and the game is about to change,” they read aloud. “Drop your buffs. Yanu’s over-the-top reaction of screeching, jumping and skipping is exactly what you’d expect from a tribe that has lost challenge after challenge. In fact, they made “Survivor” history in the New Era by going 11 days without fire because it took them that long to win an immunity challenge and retrieve their flint.

We finally have an instance of another tribe that isn’t Yanu attending tribal council in the fifth episode of “Survivor 46,” and it was a doozy. But there is still brewing tension within that purple tribe of three, along with one player losing his vote for potentially the next two tribal councils, and a risky, long-winded move that finally comes back to bite another player (or does it?). With “Tiki Man” ending in a shocking blindside, let’s break down all of the tribe dynamics and alliances before we head into the coalescing of the remaining players as shown in next week’s preview.
After 11 days, Yanu finally catches a break, winning their first immunity challenge (and their flint) and avoiding setting another record for the most immunity losses in the new era, as referenced by Jeff Probst himself. But it will be interesting to see whether they stick together...

A new Survivor 46 episode revealed a fresh power alliance that will try to control the game after the merge.
Given an opportunity to go on a Journey, Hunter McKnight, Tim Spicer, and Q Burdette jumped at the chance.
When they got to the beach for their Journey, they discussed aligning under their belief that they were the best “physical threats” in the game.
Hunter has continuously proven to be great at challenges and well-versed in how Survivor works. When he started talking about past seasons, it was clear he was a student of the game. Oh, and he also practices Survivor challenges at home.
But big threats often get targeted as soon as the merge happens, so it was also wise to try to find allies from the other tribes.

On Wednesday’s fifth episode of “Survivor 46,” the Siga tribe lost their first immunity challenge and finally had to attend tribal council. Despite a so-called “girl’s alliance” being created in the season premiere, Jemila “Jem” Hussain-Adams was shockingly voted out when Maria Shrime Gonzalez and Charlie Davis decided to join up with the boys instead. Read on for Jem’s “Survivor 46” exit interview from the end of the episode.
Holding up her idol to the camera after her ouster, Jem exclaimed that she just made “the dumbest move with an idol in my pocket!” She sighed, “Honestly, I did not expect this. This was a total blindside tonight, but it was really fun for me.” A light-hearted Jem concluded, “I love that I replanted the Beware Advantage and got them digging for three days, so it serves them right they vote me out.”

The new episode began with only 14 people competing for the $1 million prize.
Three members of the Yanu Tribe had been voted out, and Randen was medically evacuated.
Well… Bhanu wasn’t technically voted out, but Jeff Probst felt the elimination was so obvious that he didn’t make the tribe vote.
Down to only three members, as the new episode began, the Yanu Tribe was in trouble. Could Tiffany, Q, and Kenzie finally win an Immunity Challenge?
As if anyone even needs a reminder… Yanu lost the first four Immunity Challenges. They still didn’t have a flint and had to trade fish they won as a reward for camp supplies since they couldn’t cook it.
Bhanu claimed his tribe lacked empathy in an exit interview. He shared an interesting view of what happened in Fiji.

In this week’s “Survivor 46” deleted scene (watch above), the narrative centers around Ben Katzman, the 31-year-old musician from Miami. After his Siga tribe loses the reward challenge on Day 8, Ben decides to “provide” for his teammates by taking the fishing gear out for a spin. And after he catches some fish, he admits to viewers that he feels “evil” for killing them.
At the beginning of the clip, Ben states in a confessional, “My attitude as somebody who stood out on the bench [in the reward challenge] was like, I can still provide. So I just was like, all right, I’m going to go in there. I’m going to try and get us as much food as possible.”
The camera then follows Ben as he dives down into the ocean and slings his spear at a tiny fish. He rises out of the water to celebrate his catch, and his fellow tribe members Charlie Davis,...

After the third episode concluded with the Yanu tribe celebrating their unity and not having to attend their third consecutive tribal council due to a medical evacuation, the opening minutes of the fourth episode of “Survivor 46” knocked the wind right out of their sails (and again later in the episode particularly with one player). Meanwhile, Nami set another new target – this time not coming from Venus Vafa – and a major deception happened at Siga that while entertaining in the short run, could raise concern for potential dilemmas in the longer game. Let’s break down all of the events that commenced in “Don’t Touch the Oven.”
This was the first episode that Venus did not have a confessional, which as a result made the Nami tribe have the least drama this episode. But it looks like she may be able to gain another life in the game after the...

There is a lot to unpack with the second episode of “Survivor 46.” It gave us three completely different tribes in terms of dynamics, to how rivals work together, to a secret alliance, to one of the most rocky, problematic groups filled with paranoia and borderline controversial gameplay with much hilarity. In another two-hour episode, let’s break down all of the craziness that occurred in “Scorpio Energy.”
Starting with the most cohesive and least dramatic tribe of the three, Siga (known as the vibe tribe) seems to still have the gender trios of the women versus the men, with Charlie Davis looking to be swayed into joining the girls, but also registering that he would be the bottom of that pact. In order to solidify himself further, he proposed a secret pairing with Maria Shrime Gonzalez – who seems to be the popular tribe member and also possesses an extra vote...

Survivor 46 has showcased the fun that Siga Tribe is having in Fiji.
The first two episodes have featured them having fun, with the latest episode showcasing a name-that-song battle between Ben Katzman and Charlie Davis.
Charlie is a huge Taylor Swift fan, while Ben prefers Metallica. The duo then took turns naming more than 100 songs by their preferred artist. It was something to behold.
But beneath the fun this tribe appears to be having — aided by winning safety at the first two Immunity Challenges — some drama appears to be bubbling up.
Eventually, the Siga members will have to go to a Tribal Council. Whether it’s as a tribe in an upcoming episode or later on when the tribes have merged, they will all have to face the music.
A new clip released by CBS hints at some of the unspoken drama occurring within the tribe and how things could...

Recently on social media, a battle has been brewing about which version of the long-running reality TV show is better: U.S. “Survivor” or “Australian Survivor”? Well, one of the current Aussie contestants, Feras Basal, is challenging the American host, Jeff Probst, to let the two countries duke it out Down Under. “Cmon @JeffProbst we want Au Vs US,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Let them play with the big kids in Aus, we’ll sort them out with 47 days.”

Feras mentioning the number of days is important, because it’s perhaps the biggest different between the two versions. One season of “Australian Survivor” takes place over a whopping 47 days, or about a month and a half. Meanwhile,...

A new episode led to someone else getting voted off Survivor last night.
The episode picked up after the Tribal Council that sent home David Jelinsky on the season premiere.
Jelinsky was seen as quitting on his tribe several times, leading to him unanimously getting voted out by the Yanu Tribe.
At the Siga Tribe, Charlie Davis and Ben Katzman challenged each other to a song battle. For each Taylor Swift song Charlie named, Ben tried to match him with a Metallica song.
Charlie and Ben went back and forth for more than 100 song titles each, with Charlie eventually proving how much of a Swiftie he was by winning the battle.
Randen Montalvo found a Beware Advantage at Nami Tribe. He lost his vote, but if he could find a key, he could unlock a box with an Immunity Idol inside. But before that can happen, his tribe must lose a future Immunity Challenge.
