A reality show where a group of twenty-four Australians are stranded in a remote location with little more than the clothes on their back. The winner takes home $500,000 and the title of Sole Survivor.
Australian Survivor is a game show where 24 Australians are divided into two/three tribes on an island with little more than the clothes on their backs and must survive for over 50 days. These people compete in challenges for rewards and, more importantly, immunity. At the end of each day, one person will be voted out. Throughout this game, there will be a series of advantages that will help people get further in the game. One of these people will outwit, outplay and outlast the others to win the title of Sole Survivor and the grand prize of AU$500,000.Written by
The Samoan island of Upolu used as the location of this series had previously been used in four seasons of the U.S. edition of Survivor (2000) - Samoa, Heroes vs. Villains, South Pacific and One World, the nineteenth, twentieth, twenty-third and twenty-fourth seasons respectively. See more »
Girlfriend put this on the other day and now I'm hooked, we only have "I'm a celebrity" in the UK and it is just awful (she watches it, not me), lots of animal cruelty and cheapo celebrities at its finest. I feared this show would involve the same but it's just done to perfection, love the season 4 survivors, such nice people. Can't wait to watch more 👍
