If you thought the tension between Charmed old and new would cool off now that the latter has ended its run, you’d be wrong!
In the wake of the reboot’s CW series finale, one of the original series’ writers — Curtis Kheel — took to Twitter on Saturday to slam version 2.0’s climax. (The June 10 swan song ended with the current Charmed Ones — Mel, Maggie and Kaela — entering a portal to Halliwell Manor, the very home where Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige honed their craft in the original Charmed; read Andy Swift’s full recap here.)

The reboot of Charmed wrapped its four-season run last week with an episode that took to the witches -- Maggie, Mel, and Kaela -- to the location of the original series.
In one of the most shocking scenes in recent memory, the witches were at Halliwell Manor, the place Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige called home in the original show.
Curtis Kheel, who worked on the first Charmed series, took to Twitter to respond to the development.
“As an original #Charmed writer, I can tell u what happened next: Piper, Phoebe & Paige vanquished the 3 imposters right after they invaded Halliwell Manor,” Kheel tweeted.
“Then @H_Combs blew up the portal to that other universe & quipped: ‘We wish them well.’ #seriesfinale #CharmedReunionMovie.”
The Tweet caught the attention of the official Twitter account for the writers of The CW's reboot.

Writers for the Charmed reboot didn’t hold back after a perceived insult from someone who worked on the original series.
Curtis Kheel, who wrote for the first Charmed series that premiered on The WB in 1998 and ran for eight seasons, took to Twitter on Saturday to respond to a news story about the reboot’s series finale, which aired the day prior on The CW. The episode ended with the lead characters entering a portal that took them to Halliwell Manor, which was featured in the original show that starred Shannen Doherty (Prue Halliwell), Holly Marie Combs (Piper Halliwell), Alyssa Milano (Phoebe Halliwell) and Rose McGowan (Paige Halliwell).

Regina Mills, is that you?
That's the question I had to ask myself while watching the trailer for Why Women Kill Season 2.
From creator Marc Cherry, the sophomore season features a new ensemble cast and storylines set in 1949 that will explore what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and overlooked by society and finally, the lengths one woman will go in order to finally belong.
The new trailer shows Lana Parrilla in character, and you can tell she's loving every single beat of her wicked new role.
The cast also includes Allison Tolman, B.K. Cannon, Jordane Christie, Matthew Daddario, Veronica Falcón, and Nick Frost.
Tolman plays a housewife determined to make her way into the inner circle of society, but Parilla's character stands in her way at every turn, even pushing her to the ground in one scene.

Leaders of the Writers Guild of America have told their 15,000 members to fire their agents.
Members began sending the dismissal letters to agencies soon after the announcement that negotiations for a new agreement with agencies had collapsed.
I've fired a few agents in my time. This one was by far`the easiest! Proud to stand with my union in changing a system that is corrupt, illegal and unfair to all of us writers! #ClientsOverConflicts #IStandWithTheWGA pic.twitter.com/gTe7Tgxfzn
— Curtis Kheel (@curtiskheel) April 13, 2019
The unprecedented move came with the WGA’s negotiating committee announcing late Friday afternoon that it had not been able to reach a deal with the agents to revamp the 46-year-old franchise agreement. “So there is no settlement,” the committee said.
“So what happens now?” the committee said. “In a strike situation, we all know that we are to refrain from crossing the picket line or writing for a struck company,...

Ninety-five members of the Writers Guild of America have signed a letter sent to the guild’s board of directors urging that it divest from gun companies and any companies that support the NRA.
The letter, sent to the Board Tuesday, warns “Gun violence enabled by the ready availability of military grade weapons, has become one of the biggest threats to the safety and security of the American people.” The letter continues, “We urge the WGA and the WGA Pension Plan to divest of all stocks of any gun or ammunition manufacturer, and any company that provides material support to the gun industry lobbying organization called The National Rifle Association, whether through donations, deductions or other means (e.g. Federal Express), until such time as sensible national gun reform legislation is passed.”
It is signed by 95 members of both WGA West and WGA East.

SpoilerGuy here with some Eureka spoilers for you. Eureka has just returned to the newly minted SyFy channel, and if you are not watching this little show – well, you should be. Eureka is a staple of the SyFy lineup and was – correct me if I'm wrong – loosely based on the visual themes of a group of commercials created for the network in 2005. Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Jordan Hinson, and Joe Morton – who played Miles Dyson in Terminator 2 – star in Eureka, with Ferguson even taking over Directorial duties from time to time. Eureka is good, clean episodic SciFi fun. Period. Now here are the titles for the rest of season 3 of Eureka.
