The final few days before the 2020 presidential election will see phone banking, music videos and more cast reunions as Hollywood figures make a last push, largely for Democrats Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Biden’s presidential campaign continues to draw on heavy support from the entertainment industry. On Friday, they tweeted out a video created by Diane Warren that is performed by JoJo.
We are thankful to @Diane_Warren for creating this beautiful new song for the campaign performed by @iamjojo!

That is just one of many videos that will be flooding social media. Will.i.am, who produced the breakout “Yes, We Can” video for Barack Obama’s campaign in 2008, created a new one tied to a Biden speech called “The Love,” featuring the Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Hudson. It’s received nearly 33 million views on YouTube.

At this year’s inaugural Canneseries television festival, one of last year’s most ambitious — and straight up chilling — digital short film series is getting a splashy new premiere. “Bite Size Shorts” were initially created as a campaign by Fox Networks Group’s integrated agency, led by All City’s Chief Content Officer Tony Sella and Executive Vice President David Worthen Brooks, along with + Fox Digital Studio producers Arbi Pedrossian and Steven Johnson.
The 10-part series, meant to creatively show off Mars candies, was first rolled out on the Fox broadcast network and FX last October in the lead up to Halloween. Each two-minute episode is a standalone horror short, featuring new offerings from filmmakers like Ben Franklin & Anthony Melton, Toby Meakins, John William Ross, Andrew Laurich, Michael Thelin, Jerome Sable, Chris Leone, Jack Bishop & Justin Nijm, Rob Savage, and Chris Leone. Ten shorts will be screened at the festival,...

American indie film love is on full display at a fest that I’ve coined farm version of Telluride. The 8th edition of the Wassaic Project Film Festival will take off at the tail end of the month and the curators have landed Todd Haynes’ masterwork Safe and a foursome of worthy items (not including a special in-progress feature film screening) for the ’15 edition.
Sundance preemed items in Marielle Heller’s The Diary of a Teenage Girl and Lyric R. Cabral and David Felix Sutcliffe’s (T)error will be shown alongside SXSW/Cannes profiled Krisha from Trey Edward Shults and Sam Cullman’s Tribeca showcased Art and Craft. The fest runs from July 31st until August 2nd in Wassaic, New York. Pitch up a tent and go watch these features – as well as shorts selected by the Wassaic Project and Jason Sondhi of Vimeo Staff Picks and Short of the Week.

If you haven't seen this yet, you've got to check it out! It's been on my list of things to watch the last couple of days. I finally got around to watching it, and I wish I would have done it sooner! The video features Rob Cantor impressively singing an original song in 29 different voices. He hits each one of them perfectly, including the female voices such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. It's amazing to hear what this guy can pull off.
Update: This video is actually done by several other voice impersonators that Cantor lip-syncs too. Here's the full list of impersonators. I've also included a making-of video that you can watch.
Brock Baker: Jack Black, Kermit the Frog, Smeagol / Gollum, Peter Griffin, Adam Sandler, Patrick Warburton, Jon Lovitz
Gilbert Gauthier: Frank Sinatra
Amanda Gari: Cher, Flipper
Reagan James: Gwen Stefani
Bora Karaca: Whistle
Andrew Laurich:...
