Vexed is a modern day British crime solving drama that pits a new detective team Di Jack Armstrong (Toby Stephens) and Di Kate Bishop (Lucy Punch) against some tough cases. It doesn.t help matters move along that these two have no chemistry and spend much of their time arguing about the way to proceed with the investigation. Shown in Britain in 2010, Acorn brings to Us viewers for the first time this well received series. Vexed is a nice twist on the detective duo story, Jack Armstrong is careless, lazy, and out to have a good time, Kate Bishop is dedicated, methodical, and desperately trying to balance work and home life. Neither understands the other, and fireworks...

Things are going well for Miranda Raison. Since graduating from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art around a decade ago she has never had to work outside of acting. A rare thing indeed. After early roles in Wood Allen’s Match Point and (say it in hushed tones) Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo, she landed the role of Jo Portman in Spooks and the rest as they say, well, the rest as they say is apparently just the beginning.
As well as roles in Sky1′s Sinbad and last year in the Oscar nominated My Week With Marilyn, tonight she’ll be appearing in a lead role in series 2 of BBC2′s cop-comedy Vexed. HeyUGuys caught up with her to discuss it.

Vexed newcomer Miranda Raison has insisted that she will be a "completely different" influence on the show to her predecessor Lucy Punch. The Spooks actress will play Di Georgina Dixon, sidekick to Toby Stephens's Di Jack Armstrong, in the BBC comedy drama's second series. She was brought in when Punch quit her role as Di Kate Bishop after the first edition of Vexed, which aired during 2010. Speaking to Digital Spy about her experiences on Vexed, Raison recalled: "When I arrived the producer said to me 'rather than thinking in terms of the old character, it is a completely different and new character'. "[Lucy] was absolutely brilliant... Lucy's bloody good, she's an amazingly natural comedienne. But [Georgina's] all brand new. I think what her and Jack have in common is that they both think they're (more)...
