Luke Bryan is helping out a fan. The 45-year-old country singer pulled over to help Courtney Potts when the mom of two’s tire blew in Columbia, Tennessee. “When my tire blew in small town Tennessee who stopped to help? Luke Bryan,” she wrote alongside a video of Bryan changing her tire. “He deserves all the praise.” In a second...

Screen Masculinity
For almost a year, Graffiti with Punctuation editor Blake Howard and I have been discussing doing a series of essays about a topic of mutual interest - portrayals of masculinity on screen. The aim is to explore our favorite elements of the topic, to get quite personal and to come up with something hopefully compelling.
We've now begun that journey over the next few months starting with the first piece by Blake. It took him to some challenging places, but the result is intimate, passionate, complex and ultimately wonderful and sets a tone for promising reading to come. I urge you to check out the piece in our features section, or by clicking here and to leave feedback on it if possible.

NEW YORK -- GreeneStreet Films is financing writer-director Michael Ian Black's feature debut, the Jason Biggs starrer The Pleasure of Your Company, the company said Monday. Jamie Gordon and Courtney Potts of Fugitive Films and Sam Hoffman are producing the project with GreeneStreet for a little less than $7 million. The seven-week shoot is scheduled to begin in and around New York next month, with the company planning to take advantage of city and state tax incentives to save about 10% in budget costs. Biggs co-stars with Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) as an unlucky-in-love pessimist who's goaded into proposing to his waitress (Fisher) on a dare, leading to romance and comedy. The project came to GreeneStreet president John Penotti about two years ago but was delayed by Black's acting work on NBC's Ed and the latest in his longtime collaborations with Comedy Central, Stella.
