The last time Sean Combs’ music competed at the Grammys, a then-unknown Mark Zuckerberg had just created Facebook, Nipplegate occurred at the Super Bowl and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King garnered a record-tying 11 Oscars. It was 2004, and Combs, aka Diddy, won best rap performance by a group or duo — his third Grammy — for the thumping hit “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” featuring Nelly and Murphy Lee. The track appeared on the Bad Boys II soundtrack, which Diddy executive produced and released on his Bad Boy label.
So his return to the Grammys, two decades later with a nomination for best progressive R&b album for his The Love Album: Off the Grid, is a major feat — and a proud moment for the artist. Some would even call the nomination a win (though we should note that there is zero chance his album can compete with Sza’s...

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will reunite for “Bad Boys 4,” Sony Pictures confirmed Tuesday.
Smith and Lawrence announced their reunion on their respective social media platforms through a video in which Smith hinted at the next film in the franchise by playing Diddy, Murphy Lee and Nelly’s “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” which appeared in “Bad Boys II.”
Smith then hops out of his car to meet up with Lawrence as the cast mates exclaimed “it’s about that time!”
The sequel, which is untitled, is currently in early pre-production, according to Sony Pictures. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah — who directed 2020’s “Bad Boys for Life” and the scrapped “Batgirl” movie for Warner Bros. — will return to direct from a script by Chris Bremner.
El Arbi and Fallah aren’t the only ones reprising their behind the camera roles, as Jerry Bruckheimer, Will Smith for Westbrook, Doug Belgrad and...

The “Bad Boys” are officially returning, with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence announcing that they’ll reunite for a fourth film in the franchise.
Sony Pictures confirmed that the untitled sequel is in early pre-production with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah returning to direct from a script by Chris Bremner. The filmmakers, who also helmed Warner Bros.’ scrapped “Batgirl” movie, directed 2020’s “Bad Boys for Life,” which reunited Smith and Lawrence as Miami-Dade detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, 25 years after the first “Bad Boys” film was released. Shortly after the threequel hit theaters, Sony announced that a fourth “Bad Boys” film was in development, and “Bad Boys for Life” went on to earn 426.5 million at the worldwide box office as one of the last pre-pandemic era blockbusters.
On Tuesday morning, Smith and Lawrence announced that the upcoming movie was officially charging ahead by releasing a reunion video on social media with the caption,...

Ten years is a long time. Need proof? How about the fact that in 2003, people were listening to -- and enjoying -- songs by Lumidee and Wayne Wonder that not only sounded exactly the same, but were also horrible. Fortunately the rest of the year's offerings were more acceptable and lasting. To wit: "Crazy In Love" and "In Da Club" would rank as the best singles released in 2013 -- apologies to Daft Punk, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars and the rest of this year's artists reaching into the 1970s to find the next great pop hit.
Ahead, the 32 songs you loved in 2003.
1. Beyonce, "Crazy in Love"
2. The Black Eyed Peas, "Where Is The Love?"
3. Fountains of Wayne, "Stacy's Mom"
4. Fall Out Boy, "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy"
5. Justin Timberlake, "Cry Me a River"
6. Simple Plan, "Addicted"
7. Kym Marsh, "Come On Over"
8. S Club 8, "Fool No More"
9. Lil Kim feat.

It's typical for the season finale of Workaholics to go out with a bang, but did you really see a futuristic world where Adam, Blake, and Ders have to slam Jillian's head into a fax machine in order to save the world from human/cyborg hybrids? We didn't, but if this is a sign of what's to come in the show's looming fourth season, we hope the force is with them. THe best quotes:
"She's crushing my testicles!" "Let's see if I can crush her testicles."
"I'm not an ocean dog, okay? I'm a city cat."
"I'll just be a cyborg, alright! Just stop pulling things out of my ass!"
"Someone needs to put a muzzle on him. I hate you."
"I've actually done so much of this stuff that I don't even think it really affects my brain anymore."
"If you had a laser dick, then yeah, I'd be a cyborg.

This week's Billboard album chart featured few surprises, mainly involving pre-Grammy sales bumps for Justin Bieber and Mumford & Sons (expect more of those increases next week) and a post-Super Bowl surge from the Black Eyed Peas. At the top of the heap was the 37th (!) volume of the Now That's What I Call Music! series, which collects hits from Eminem ("Love the Way You Lie"), Katy Perry ("Firework"), Ke$ha ("We R Who We R") and Taylor Swift ("Mine"). It also includes chart-topping smashes like Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are," Pink's "Raise Your Glass" and Far East Movement's "Like a G6," not to mention chart sensations like Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" and Pitbull's "Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)."
That's a pretty dense collection of singles, which begs the question: Is Now That's What I Call Music! 37 the best in the series' history?...

Dude, we’re sorry… we’re sorry that it took us a couple of days to put this up. We’ve just been really busy. It’s not you, it’s us. We just needed some space. (Or we had technical difficulties. Either way, I think that covered it. ) Last Thursday, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg graced St. Louis with their presence at “The Other Premiere”. St. Louis won by banning together via Fcebook to win the online contest with the most votes. Good job Stl, now if only we could all do something about the pot holes… The Red Carpet was a barrel of monkeys! It was super fun! Local celebrities Ozzie Smith, Chingy, Murphy Lee and some of the Rams players all walked the red Carpet… and even Don King showed up. (You will find out in my video why this is so funny. I believe it goes...

With all the buzz surrounding the release of Rebirth, the mad quest to record songs before going to prison and his Twitter and Ustream habits, the biggest music-related Lil Wayne news has gotten swept under the rug a bit. That would be the release of We Are Young Money, the posse album that dropped just before the end of 2009 that secretly contains some of the best Weezy-blessed work of the past 12 months.
The album, which features contributions from Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Lil Twist and Jae Millz. The two singles ("Every Girl," which peaked at 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "BedRock") were both heaters that had some great work from everybody (but especially Nicki Minaj, who is becoming the crew's most potent weapon). There's also some top-shelf production care of Cool & Dre, Kane Beatz and Tha Bizness, making it a wall-to-wall success.
