Killer Teddy Bear anyone?? You got to love the inventiveness of some filmmakers. In this followup from Bs Entertainment, “Kodie focuses on two ghost hunting teams researching a haunted house in a small town. Soon they are terrorized by a little girl named Kodie in the form of a Killer Teddy Bear!”
The newley released DVD includes behind the scenes footage of the making of Kodie.

I mean after all there was the Hal Holbrook slasher Girls Nite Out from the 80's that had a killer in a bear costume that remains pretty obscure because the execution of the story was just so laughable. However, Berry was able to pull off the story with several interesting plot twists and turns. And most importantly, he was able to keep the...

Montreal filmmaker Blackthorne will introduce her horror anthology during the film fest.
On Sunday, August 29th at 12pm (Room 206B) at the Canadian Fan Expo, Montrealean filmmaker Melantha Blackthorne will present her new horror film Graveyard Picture Show, featuring a staggering seven twisted tales of the undead from some of underground horror's most notorious directors. Each story revolves around one fateful accident in the same small town. Blackthorne is 'Countess Bathoria' in the wraparound/host segments, and she directs one herself. Other directors include Jimmyo Burril, Jan Pivon, Justin Powers, Steve Villeneuve, Mike Watt, and Kevin Woodhouse.
