[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI Season 6 Episode 2 “Remorse.”] As is the case quite often on a procedural drama, a tough day on the job coincides with a problem off it for Jeremy Sisto‘s Jubal Valentine in the latest FBI. The good news? Neither seems to result in long-term problems or concerns. Just as Jubal gets to work, his ex-wife Sam (Mara Davi) calls to tell him that their son Tyler (Caleb Reese Paul) was suspended after getting caught drinking. Jubal is worried given his own history with alcoholism; he’s talked to his son because he could have the gene. Sam later tells Jubal that Tyler said he was trying to make a friend, but she’s not sure she buys it. She wants him to go back to therapy—Jubal isn’t so sure, since he wants him to own his mistake—and for his father to go with him. After wrapping up the case, ...

“It’s a pretty stressful one for old Jubes,” Jeremy Sisto says of the February 20 episode of FBI. In “Remorse,” the president of the NY Fed is gunned down trying to help a woman in peril, leading to the team racing to find the killer and the missing woman. “That in itself is a sort of tragic and relatable entry point into a very exciting and very disturbing episode,” Sisto tells TV Insider. His character, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine, is under pressure off the job as well, with his son (Caleb Reese Paul) suspended from school. Sisto previews the stress. There’s a connection to one of Jubal’s past cases with this episode’s investigation. What can you preview? Is what was going on in his life off the clock during that past case important? Or is it just about that case itself? Jeremy Sisto: In...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI Season 5 Episode 11, “Breakdown.”] As Jeremy Sisto told us, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine makes a bad choice in the January 24 episode of FBI. Jubal’s on his way to work when his ex-wife Samantha (Mara Davi) calls to tell him that their son Tyler (Caleb Reese Paul) has a lump and is going to see a doctor. While he’s been in the clear, there is a concern that his cancer is back. Jubal looked at the vodka bottles on the counter in the store, and yes, he does add some to his coffee, explaining why he’s so upset when someone spills it and defensive when Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) questions his behavior and asks if he’s been drinking. At one point, he even threatens to have her fired if she questions his authority again. Jubal then drinks before going to see Tyler, and after Sam...

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto) will once again be balancing a health scare regarding his son, Tyler (Caleb Reese Paul), and a high-pressure case on FBI. It was in Season 3’s “Fathers and Sons” that Jubal had to be in the field for a case involving a man who was desperate to get his son a kidney as Tyler went to see a doctor and learned he had leukemia. It was caught early and now, two years later, Tyler has been doing well. But now, in the January 24 episode, “Breakdown,” Jubal’s past demons begin to surface when Tyler has a health scare at the same time the FBI deals with a mysterious bioweapon — which has already left two Mta workers dead and one injured — and finding who’s responsible and the location of the next target. “So far, Tyler has been on a good track.

Although an insane number of zombies, or walkers if you prefer, were dispatched over the course of The Walking Dead‘s eleven seasons, it was always other people that were the greatest threat to the group of survivors the show followed. And while that will probably continue to be the case on the upcoming spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City – which focuses on the characters Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and is set to reach AMC and AMC+ sometime in June 2023 – we’re also going to be seeing some interesting zombie moments on the new show. In fact, Scott M. Gimple, the Chief Content Officer of the Walking Dead Universe, says The Walking Dead: Dead City will feature a particularly awesome, disgusting, terrifying walker.

The Walking Dead wrapped up its 11 season run back in November and this year brings the eighth and final season of Fear the Walking Dead, but that doesn’t mean the overall franchise is coming to an end. There’s the Rick & Michonne spin-off to look forward to in 2024, the Daryl spin-off (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon) coming along later this year, and The Walking Dead: Dead City, a spin-off that will follow the characters of Maggie and Negan (played by Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan). It has now been announced that The Walking Dead: Dead City will be reaching AMC and AMC+ sometime in June 2023.
Since that’s just five months away, we should be hearing a specific date soon. Fear the Walking Dead season 8 consists of twelve episodes and the season will be split in two. The season begins airing on May 14th, then after six...

Update: CBS has pulled the Season 3 finale of “FBI” in the wake of Tuesday’s deadly Texas school shooting.
In Tuesday’s Season 4 finale of “FBI,” Jeremy Sisto’s character Jubal Valentine — who’s already had an incredibly rough season — has another crisis involving his son, Tyler (Caleb Reese Paul), who is reluctant to cooperate when a classmate becomes a suspect.
TheWrap spoke to Sisto about Jubal’s dilemma ahead of the season finale, which was not available to view before it airs, in which the New York field office investigates a deadly heist of automatic weapons.
