The weirdest comic book sub-franchise of them all is, somehow, about to get even weirder. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has stood at the top of the mountain for well over a decade at this point, while its main competitor in DC Studios has struggled to keep pace and is now enacting a full-scale reboot under James Gunn and Peter Safran. Meanwhile, Sony's standalone "Spider-Man" franchise took the "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" approach when it folded both Sam Raimi's movies and Marc Webb's duology into the MCU proper with "Spider-Man: No Way Home." And then there's "Venom," which has complicated the multiverse beyond all logic and reason and had a grand time doing so. However, even all that nonsense featuring tons of decapitations and silly accents pales in comparison to what the impending threequel just revealed.

The final trailer for Venom: The Last Dance has arrived, setting the stage for Tom Hardy's last outing as the fan-favorite villain-turned-superhero, and finally revealing the film's ultra-powerful villain: Knull.
No word on who's playing the God of the symbiotes or the extent of his role, but it does look like we'll be getting a comic-accurate depiction. As for his goal in the threequel, it sounds like he'll be hunting Venom down and sending every symbiote in his arsenal after the dynamic duo, in an attempt to retrieve something important, which we're going to guess is the All-Black (or the Sony's Spider-Man Universe version of it), although we'll have to wait and see.
After that, there's plenty of new footage in the trailer to enjoy, especially lots of gnarly new symbiotes. While characters like Toxin seem like a given to pop up, it still remains up in the...

Marvel's most codependent couple are returning to bite off more heads in a new trailer for "Venom: The Last Dance." The third film in the series marks the feature directorial debut of Kelly Marcel, who did the final script rewrite for "Venom" and went on to write the screenplay for "Venom: Let There Be Carnage," based on a story she cooked up with franchise star Tom Hardy. "Venom: The Last Dance" was similarly developed by Hardy and Marcel.
This time around, the story sees reporter Eddie Brock (Hardy) and his resident alien symbiote Venom (voiced by Hardy) on the run from both the human and the symbiote worlds -- a true Romeo & Juliet set-up. The previous trailer for "Venom: The Last Dance" indicated they'll be fending off two antagonists: a military official played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, and a symbiote called Toxin who occupies a human host called Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham). However,...

Ahead of the final trailer that's set to be released online this Thursday, Sony Pictures has shared a new teaser for Venom: The Last Dance, which is being marketed as the "epic conclusion" of the franchise.
The 30-second promo features quite a bit of new footage, including the monstrous Xenophage climbing across some buildings, a group of government agents attempting to incapacitate Venom underwater, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) trying to reason with his Symbiote pal, and more of the Venomized horse.
No sign of any other Symbiotes here, but a recently-released International trailer gave us a glimpse of what some fans believed to be Lasher. However, a closed-captions version of the teaser confirmed that it was actually Toxin (Stephen Graham).
Check out the new footage below, and be sure to drop back for the full trailer on Thursday.

A recently released international trailer for the film revealed another symbiote in its full glory and fans are fully suspecting it to be none other than the minor antagonist, Lasher. While there is no confirmation yet, fans have a lot to say about the cameo in the trailer and they are not happy, to say the least.

An international TV spot for Sony Pictures' Venom: The Last Dance has been shared online, and while it is mostly made up of footage from the first trailer, it does also feature a few new shots - including one quick glimpse of what appears to be a brand-new Symbiote.
There's every chance this is Toxin - the Symbiote corrupt detective Pat Mulligan (Stephen Graham) merged with towards the end of Let There Be Carnage - but some seem to feel that it looks a lot more like Lasher.
Introduced in Venom: Lethal Protector #4 back in the '90s, Lasher was created when seeds were extracted from Venom by the Life Foundation. One of the young creatures merged with security force officer Ramón Hernández to form Lasher, who became one of the Foundation's "Guardians Symbiotes."

The first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was released yesterday and...well, it was quite something. It's a Venom movie, alright, and while it looks like an "epic" conclusion to the trilogy, there are signs of the same old problems.
Sony Pictures has never quite managed to grasp this character, but Venom was a hit in 2018 and Venom: Let There Be Carnage also performed well despite being released in the final months of the Covid-19 pandemic.
That's given the studio a false sense of confidence and a belief that, no matter what fans and critics say, the goofy direction they've taken this franchise in is the right one. In this feature, we single out moments in the trailer which highlight the mistakes Sony has already made with Venom: The Last Dance.

The first trailer for the upcoming third (and potentially final) installment of Sony’s Venom series, Venom: The Last Dance, has just been released online. Within less than 14 hours of this article, the video had already reached over 12.5 million views on the Sony Pictures Entertainment YouTube Channel.
The official synopsis reads: “In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.“
The trailer first shows Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom take on a group of thugs running an illegal dog fighting ring. After that brief event, we see that Eddie is not being targeted by the military,...

The first trailer for the final instalment in Sony Pictures' Venom trilogy, The Last Dance, was released yesterday, and while the footage didn't feature many major reveals, we did get confirmation that a villainous Symbiote teased in the previous movie will appear.
Towards the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, it was heavily implied that corrupt detective Pat Mulligan (Stephen Graham) had merged with a piece of the Carnage Symbiote. Mulligan returns in the trailer for The Last Dance, but the closed captions for the character's dialogue label him as Toxin.
"As long as Venom lives, everything, everyone will end," he says as the teaser cuts to shots of Venom in action.
It remains to be seen if Toxin is actually unleashed in this movie, but it would seem like an odd move to use the name in the subtitles if we weren't going to see Mulligan transform at least once.

Yesterday, the first trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ was released, featuring Eddie Brock and Venom on the run after defeating Carnage. From what we saw, Eddie and Venom are being hunted not only by humans but also by other symbiotes.
Recently, leaked merchandise hinted that the villain in the upcoming movie could be Toxin or Lasher. The newly released trailer has confirmed that the antagonist will indeed be Toxin.
The confirmation came from the trailer subtitles when Stephen Graham’s character, who looks like he’s been captured and held in a cell, spoke.
Toxin is the child of the Carnage symbiote, making him the “grandchild” of the original Venom symbiote. Toxin is considered one of the strongest symbiotes. Based on how ‘Let There Be Carnage’ ended, Toxin has plenty of reasons to go after Eddie and Venom. Toxin’s main host, and the one in the movie, is Patrick Mulligan.

It is already known that fans will definitely get a third Venom movie as actor Tom Hardy stated in August 2018 that he had signed on to star in three Venom films. So far, we have got two movies and both of them had a decent box office run. Although the movie is set in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (Ssu), it has been hinted in 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage that the franchise might get integrated with Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A still from Venom (2018)
Recently, Sony announced the third film’s title, Venom: The Last Dance, a phrase which is often used to describe the last act. Sony also revealed that the film is all set to hit the theatres on October 25th, 2024. In a recent interview, industry insider Jeff Sneider revealed his opinion on the film’s title, suspecting that the film’s going to be a “symbiote mayhem.
