Caitlin Clark doesn't discriminate against age; she hilariously blocked a young boy's basketball shot while attending a charity event.
The newest WNBA sensation has made a name for herself, breaking records left and right. In fact, on June 7, she hit seven 3-pointers during a sold-out crowd against the Mystics. She also tied for her career high, scoring 30 points.
Even when she isn't playing in the WNBA, she can still be found on the basketball court. Earlier this week, Caitlin Clark attended Gainbridge's Habitat for Humanity, where she played one-on-one with a younger child, hilariously blocking his shot.

The recent passing of Terence Davies and the tributes that followed — tales of a steel will, impassioned budgetary battles and a host of dream projects that never materialized — give this highly personal tribute to Scottish filmmaker Bill Douglas an extra and very poignant relevance as a similar story, now depressingly familiar to the British film industry, of an uncompromising talent who left us with a tantalizing promise of what might have been. Now largely unknown to the wider world but very dear to the heart of Scotland (despite the fact that he left his homeland at the earliest opportunity), Douglas is the closest thing to a Rosetta Stone in recent British independent and social-realist cinema. From his early home movies through to his last three-hour masterwork Comrades (1986), the director left an indelible imprint that still seems shockingly modern today, leaving traces in everything from Derek Jarman’s early Super-8 works...

A ten-month-old baby girl was found dead in a hot car after her babysitter, Rhonda Jewell, 46, left her there for five hours.
Jewell, who was the infant’s occasional babysitter, was arrested last Wednesday and charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child. The 46-year-old reportedly picked up the ten-month-old from her mother’s house around 8 a.m. and drove to another residence, where she was babysitting three other children.
Upon arrival at the other Macclenny, Florida, residence, Jewell allegedly forgot about the baby and left her in the car for five hot hours. Florida’s temperature on that day was around 96 degrees Fahrenheit (35.55 degrees Celsius), according to the National Weather Service, and the temperature inside the car the baby was found in was 133 degrees Fahrenheit (56.11 degrees Celsius).
Jewell allegedly did not realize she had left the baby inside the car until the child’s mother came by to pick her up a little after 1 p.

Vertical Entertainment has landed North American rights to “The Doc,” a documentary about a rap legend whose life and career was upended after a near-fatal accident.
The Doc, a hip-hop lyricist and producer who wrote for Nwa and Dr. Dre, was involved in a 1989 car crash that took his voice. “The Doc,” directed Dave Caplan, picks up 30 years later as he considers a dangerous experimental surgery that could restore his vocal cords.
Vertical will release the movie in theaters in the spring of 2023, following its world premiere at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
“The Doc is an incredible talent and visionary who helped usher the hip-hop movement into mainstream America,” Peter Jarowey, a partner at Vertical, said in a statement. “As his remarkable life is revealed on screen, it is like watching the history of hip-hop unfold before your very eyes as witnessed by industry legends who count him as a friend,...

Prime Video has released the first trailer for the ripped-from-the-headlines drama “Thirteen Lives,” Ron Howard’s upcoming film about the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue.
In June and July 2018, the members of a junior football team were trapped for 18 days in Thailand’s Tham Luang Nang Non cave, after heavy rainfall flooded the cave system and blocked their way out. As the team – who ranged in age from 11-16 years old – and their coach remained trapped for weeks, the situation attracted global interest and an international rescue team was assembled to locate them. Howard’s film will chronicle the events of the rescue, focusing on the efforts of the divers to save the trapped team members.
Viggo Mortensen and Colin Farrell lead the ensemble cast as Rick Stanton and John Volanthen, the British cave divers who volunteered their expertise to help find the group alongside anesthetist Harry Harris (Joel Edgerton) and...
