It was announced today in a story by The Star's Richard Ouzounian that Aubrey Dan was no longer involved as producer in the upcoming Prince of Broadway, and that there were not plans for future Toronto shows beyond the 2012 Season. Dancap Productions has been producing commercial theatre in Toronto since 2007, when it exploded onto the scene with a strong freshman season. Shortly thereafter the company produced the Canadian production of Jersey Boys, which ran for two years and played to over two million people. Since Jersey Boys closed Dan has faced an uphill battle, and has made the decision that 2012 will be the company's final season.

Joe Jonas has stood firm that he is no heartbreaker. Having endured failed romances with the likes of Camilla Belle, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, the 20-year-old singer insisted he is the one who usually gets his heart broken in a relationship as he pointed out on Jonas Brothers' songs as proof of his innocence.
"I know there's people out there who say I've been breaking hearts, but listen to our songs. They speak the truth," the middle member of the pop band said in an interview with Richard Ouzounian of Toronto Star. "If hearts have been broken, they're usually ours. What happens in our relationships winds up in our songs and haters will be haters."
Joe wasn't the only one talking about romance during the chat. His younger brother Nick Jonas, who has parted ways with ex-girlfriends Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, also opened up about embracing life as a single man.

Plus GLAAD honors Lee Daniels, The CW's cheerleading show, Gregg Araki goes Kaboom, and more Newsweek fallout.
First still from Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" video. Very Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love"
Desperate Housewives needed someone to spice up the proceedings, and when casting a beyotch, one can do far worse than Vanessa Williams. Personally, I want the storyline to have Wilhelmina moving to the suburbs for some unknown reason, just to keep Ugly Betty alive. Bryan Batt weighs in on the Newsweek controversy, referring to the "ridiculous and homophobic and self-loathing article that came out in Newsweek." The GLAAD Media Awards still have a stop to make in San Francisco June 5th, where they will honor Precious director Lee Daniels and Cybill Shepherd, with performances by Sam Sparro and newly out country singer Chely Wright. I've plugged geek comic HijiNKS Ensue before for their gay character, and today's strip casually...
