When will young people learn that hunting for magic mushrooms in the middle of absolutely nowhere is never a good idea. Markus Welter’s upcoming Swiss horror flick “One Way Trip” — an adventure into wooded terror that shall be presented in the third dimension — sounds an awful lot like Paddy Breathnach’s 2007 effort “Shrooms”, a film I can’t say that I enjoyed. Here’s hoping “One Way Trip” handles this drug-addled premise in a much better way. Truth be told, they have nowhere to go but up. Here’s what you get in terms of story: Eight young people drive to the Swiss Jura region, food and tents in the trunk. It’s autumn and high season for a magic mushroom that grows there – the reason for their trip. After a few problems they arrive at the desired location deep in the woods, the tents are set up, the...

There may not be that much of a German languagehorror film industry but clearly Sabrina Reiter is the go-to girl when local directors need a scream queen.Reiter played the lead in both Dead In Three Days pictures out of Austria and now she takes the lead again in upcoming Swiss effort One Way Trip 3D. Markus Welter's picture follows a familiar formula - take a group of attractive young people and get them out into the woods somewhere before releasing havoc - with the added bonus of being the first 3D horror effort to come out of the region.Eight young people drive to the Swiss Jura region, food and tents in the trunk. Horror films remind us that taking drugs is bad, very bad. Markus Welter's One Way Trip 3D cements this party line by showing all sorts of pandemonium. In the trailer below, a few nature lovers partake in the ancient ritual of magic mushroom eating and soon, they are either falling off of buildings, being burned alive, or the tried-and-true - being impaled by a sharp spike. At the midpoint of the clip, all of the characters look distressed in some way and Welter would remind horror fans to never, ever use drugs (not even coffee)!

Ah, the slasher film. So good. So gory. So deliciously slicey dicey! If My Bloody Valentine 3D proved anything, it was that the notion of bodies being horribly eviscerated in 3D can be lots of fun! The good news? There's a brand new slasher coming our way that's looking to fill all three dimensions with gore!
According to Screen Daily Zurich-based HesseGreutert Film and Vienna’s Superfilm are to co-produce the first 3D feature film to come from Switzerland and Austria. Markus Welter's One Way Trip, which is described by the producers as "an intelligent slasher film with Gothic elements and an unexpected ending", is set to begin its six-week shoot from the end of September.
