This week is the long-lived Cartoon Network series “Space Ghost: Coast to Coast,” an animated, late-night talk show featuring old Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Later, Kevin James talks about his new film project “The Creed,” and we talk about musical guilty pleasures (except Matt Sinclair and Richard Thornton who were too cool for school at age 11). Also, tune in at the end to hear about an opportunity to guest on the show. Enjoy!

El Paso, Texas — Friends and family remembered actor Sherman Hemsley at his funeral Wednesday in Texas by showing video clips of him as George Jefferson, the TV role that was his best known.
About 150 people attended the service at Cielo Vista Church in El Paso. Hemsley, 74, died of lung cancer on July 24, but a fight over his estate delayed his burial.
Mourners couldn't help but laugh as they watched the clips of Hemsley playing the feisty, bigoted owner of a chain of dry-cleaning businesses on "The Jeffersons."
"He helped us to laugh, gave us an opportunity to forget the troubles, the stresses of life," El Paso Police Department chaplain Sam Faraone said during Hemsley's eulogy.
Hemsley, an Air Force veteran, was buried at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

Actor Sherman Hemsley died at his home in Texas this past July, and on Wednesday (Nov. 21), his friends and family were finally able to say goodbye at his months-delayed funeral.
Per the Associated Press, about 150 people attended Hemsley's funeral service at Cielo Vista Church in El Paso, where the actor was remembered with video clips of his best-known role as George Jefferson on "The Jeffersons."
Hemsley's burial was delayed when his half brother, Richard Thornton, challenged Hemsley's will, which named his longtime friend Flora Enchinton Bernal as his heir. An El Paso judge ruled earlier this month that the will is valid as it was written.

El Paso, Texas — A Texas judge says a longtime friend of Sherman Hemsley can proceed with burial plans for the deceased star of "The Jeffersons."
Hemsley's body has remained in refrigerated storage at an El Paso funeral home since his death on July 24.
Judge Patricia B. Chew on Friday gave longtime friend Flora Enchinton Bernal the authority to decide how Hemsley would be buried.
Chew's ruling came shortly after she upheld the validity of Hemsley's will, which granted Enchinton Bernal sole authority over his estate.
Hemsley made his name as George Jefferson on the popular TV sitcom.
Philadelphia man Richard Thornton, who says he is Hemsley's half-brother, has contested the will. Thornton's attorney, Mark Davis, said afterward he will seek a stay of Chew's ruling.

Actor Sherman Hemsley of "The Jeffersons" and "Amen" died at his Texas home three months ago. But he has still not been laid to rest. According to Fox News, it is because both the beneficiaries of his will and his cause of death have been called into question.
An employee from the San Jose Funeral Home in El Paso tells Fox that Hemsley's body is still at their facility and that they await a court order telling them what to do with it.
The legal dispute at the heart of the problem is between Hemsley's former manager and live-in companion Flora Enchinton, who was named the sole beneficiary in his will, and Richard Thornton, a man from Philadelphia who claims to be Hemsley's brother. Thornton has filed a civil lawsuit disputing the validity of the will. The value of the estate is estimated at $50,000.

Sherman Hemsley, best known for his role as George Jefferson, still hasn't been buried more than a month after his death and is being kept in refrigeration as a result of a dispute over his will. Sherman Hemsley died July 24, but he has yet to be laid to rest. And until a dispute over his will is resolved, his body, embalmed and refrigerated, will reportedly remain at an El Paso, Texas, funeral home.
The 74-year-old actor, who played George Jefferson on "The Jeffersons" and "All in the Family," passed away at his El Paso home from lung cancer.
Hemsley was not married and had no children, but according to the Associated Press, he left his approximately $50,000 estate to his "beloved partner" Flora Enchinton.
But a man claiming to be Hemsley's brother, Richard Thornton, is contesting the will, which he suggests the actor did not write.
According to Enchinton, Hemsley's manager for over 20 years, the actor never mentioned any relatives.
"Some people come out of the woodwork," she tells the AP. "They think Sherman, they think money."
A court date has yet to be set for the case.

It's been more than a month since the death of Jeffersons star Sherman Hemsley, and while his spirit may have moved on up (provided you subscribe to beliefs regarding real estate in the sky), sadly, his body has not. It hasn't, in fact, moved anywhere: According to the Associated Press, Hemsley's body remains in refrigeration in an El Paso funeral home while a local court hears an argument over the validity of his will from a man claiming to be Hemsley's long-lost brother. Richard Thornton, who hails from Hemsley's hometown of Philadelphia, says he is ...
