Whether it comes from esteemed photographer Clay Enos or Zack Snyder’s lively Vero feed, the tidal wave of Justice League content continues unabated.
This week alone, DC fans have been treated to a never-before-seen shot of Steppenwolf’s initial invasion, along with a detailed video essay designed to identify the areas in which DC movies still need to improve (spoilers: it involves action choreography and the incessant use of super-slow motion).
But for those curious to know more about the making of Justice League, Snyder and Enos have been incredibly forthcoming in regards to those set photos and top-secret concept art of DC’s finest in action. And today brings another batch to add to the growing collection.
First spotted by Heroic Hollywood, this artwork comes to us by way of Christian Scheurer, who specialized in the creation of Justice League‘s Parademons and their otherworldly lair. And so,...

Warner Bros. and David Ayer’s Suicide Squad was certainly a divisive movie, and was pretty much lambasted by the majority of critics – though it does have its fair share of very focal fans. However, one thing even most of the film’s defenders have to admit is that the main villain, Enchantress, was bloody awful.
Cara Delevingne never got a chance to do much of anything at all as June Moon or her spookier alter-ego, but the biggest misstep was having the character gyrate like some kind of disco take on Gozer the Gozerian from Ghostbusters for her grand finale.

Perhaps the upcoming extended cut of the movie will flesh Enchantress out a bit, but in the meantime, some newly released concept art from Christian Lorenz Scheurer’s official website proves that at one point she could have looked a lot better. Here,...

Like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad was a pretty divisive movie. One of the things many fans took issue with from early on were the costume designs, but concept artist Christian Lorenz Scheurer has now shared some very interesting new alternate designs via his official website. Those mostly focus on Enchantress, and her final form here actually looks a fair bit more impressive than the CGI heavy final version the movie itself delivered. Also below are some shots of The Joker and Harley Quinn which point to her escape playing out a little differently in an earlier version of the movie. As you can see, a drone rescues her and the villains later attempt to escape via a Midway City bridge. Alternate designs for these characters, Incubus (a villain most of us would probably prefer to forget), and the Enchantress' soldiers can be found by clicking below.

Technology represents new opportunities for the creative industries, but that doesn’t mean the robots are taking over.
“Oliver Stone didn’t come up with Wall Street with an algorithm, it’s a creative business,” said Sunny Dhillon of California-based Vc fund Signia during Zurich Summit panel Breaking Rules and Disrupting Business Models.
Dhillon was bullish on the opportunities that a platform like Snapchat offers to those with IP to exploit. He noted one example of the Exorcist TV series offering a user generated content experience on Snapchat.
“This is voluntary engagement with an advertisement in a way we haven’t seen before.”
Dhillon cited a recent Wall Street Journal article that Snapchat reaches 41% of all 18 to 34 year olds in the Us on a daily basis; while a traditional TV network reaches only 6%.
Robert Darwell, partner at law firm Sheppard Mullin, said technology should offer more opportunities for work and investment for creatives. “It’s a great...

Concept artist Christian Lorenz Scheurer has been busy recently working on the various DC Comics adaptations in the works at Warner Bros. Pictures.
With his efforts on "Suicide Squad" set to hit this week and "Justice League" currently in production, he has taken some time out to show off his earlier gig in this building cinematic universe - "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
From his official site (via Film Sketchr), a whole gallery of art from the production recently went online and it's frankly quite stunning and shows off a more classic look than what we got in the eventual film. Click the photo below to check out the full gallery:...

Given that Man of Steel is a film based on a comic book and directed by Zack Snyder (a guy who loves his visuals), it’s not surprising that the latest Superman film is filled with striking images. And naturally, even as striking as some of those visuals are, there were even cooler looking things created in the film’s concept art. Artist Christian Lorenz Scheurer has posted a plethora of really sweet pieces highlighting his designs for Man of Steel. The work is amazingly detailed and covers all sorts of material – from early takes on the council chamber to the battle waged around it, to various Kryptonian creatures and the Kansas farm Superman would eventually call home. If a picture is worth a thousand words, these pieces pretty much speak for themselves. Have...
