Rohan Sippy’s upcoming movie, Nautanki Saala had its music launch recently, and true to the theme of the film had the launch in full dramebaaz and nautanki style. Present were the main starcast – Ayushmann Khurrana, Kunal Roy Kapur, Pooja Salvi, Evelyn Sharma and Gaelyn Mandonca – along with director Rohan Sippy, singers Rashid Khan and Neeti Mohan, composer Rochak Kohli, lyricist Gurpreet Saini and T-Series Honcho Bhushan Kumar.
Ayushmann and Kunal made an entrance in a mini train to the popular track ‘Dramebaaz’ along with a host of clowns. Khurrana, who has already lent his voice to Pani Da Rang from Vicky Donor, will be singing two tracks in this movie as well. Along with Neeti Mohan, Ayushmann sang to Saddi Galli and Mera Mann much to the delight of the audience. Not only that, some lucky girls got to dance to the track Dhak Dhak with the lead actors.

The event which all Bollywood figures and film buffs look forward to every year finally took place on Sunday night! The 58th Idea Filmfare Awards was held at Yash Raj Films Studios in Mumbai, which saw the film fraternity unite to celebrate the best of Hindi Cinema during 2012. Considered by many to be Bollywood’s equivalent to the Oscars, this year’s Filmfare awards are extra special since 2013 marks 100 years since the first moving picture was made in India. There were a number of films which thoroughly deserved the awards for delivering outstanding entertainment which will be remembered for years to come. Looking back at 2012 song-ically, it certainly was a year of cool sounds, new voices, groovy and groovin’ beats and over all some killer tracks. Many of the songs brought a new vibe to the music of the movies, songs flavored with new influences, and songs that we never would have thought we would hear in a Bollywood flick. There were classic beats that got us up and dancing not to mention the grooves of today that got us to move to the music. We met some new singers we can’t wait to hear more of and some of our favorites blew us away with outstanding vocals. 2012 was full of surprises and we enjoyed so many of them, 50 in fact and every single note!
