American Greetings is giving people a new way to say Happy Birthday, Congratulations, or Get Well Soon. They've teamed up with iTunes to offer new greetings featuring 1-song download gift cards, which means you can now use a greeting card to say things like "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Need You Now."
Well the download codes aren't song-specific, unlike the poor quality musical greeting cards we're all guilty of buying over the years, so the recipient will be able to download any song of their choice from iTunes extensive catalog, like Katy Perry's latest or even a track by the Rolling Stones. The cards will feature everything from music-themed artwork to sayings like "You are amazing."
"From our research, we already knew that consumers loved the pairing of music and greeting cards, and we wanted to elevate the overall experience," said Carol Miller, executive director of new product concepts at American Greetings.
