Anthony and Joe Russo’s Agbo announced the winners of its 48-hour filmmaking competition, “No Sleep ‘til Film Fest” today.
Waldo Levendal, a filmmaker based in Cape Town, South Africa, won first place for his short P E N, about a simple object that represents the complexity of life.
Second place went to Australian filmmaker Joel Philips for his short, Trade, a horror-comedy-musical about a woman held for ransom.
Clay Lacey, an aspiring director from California, took third place for his film Movie, The Film: A Motion Picture, in which a filmmaker forces a bot to watch hours of romance, action, drama and horror movies to create the world’s first AI-produced film.

Magic Johnson is whipping out a full court defense -- claiming the ex-flight attendant who's suing him for wrongful termination wasn't canned for her old age ... she was just Terrible at her job. Travis Barker just got a little more closure and presumably a lot more compensation from last year's fatal Learjet crash. The Blink-182 drummer, who is now the sole remaining survivor of the event that killed four and spared the lives of himself and DJ Am, has settled his negligence suit with the various owners and makers of what he deemed a "defective" aircraft. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Superior Court tells E! News, and the documents have been sealed. The mysterious deal, which was noted in documents filed last Thursday, was reportedly hashed out during a Nov. 18 mediation session involving the respective legal teams of Barker, Clay Lacy...

Celebrity drummer Travis Barker has plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and in a post on his MySpace blog he most of all expresses his gratitude to be alive after being involved in the deadly plane crash that left him suffering from second and third-degree burns and other injuries. Besides, he also thanks people for supporting him through the difficult time.

Travis Barker is feeling a bit better so he's decided it's time to start suing all those that might have been responsible for the plane crash that almost cost him his life. According to TMZ, he has file a lawsuit against Bombardier Inc., Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber. In the lawsuit, Travis claims that "one or more of the tires failed leaving tire debris and portions of airplane components along the 8,600 foot runway" which ultimately cause the crash.
