We still like this stuff,...

Jelly Roll was named New Artist of the Year at the 57th annual CMA Awards. “Most importantly there is something poetic about a 39-year-old man winning New Artist of the Year,” Jelly Roll hollered from the stage. “Keep going, baby! Success is on the other side of it.”
But the biggest upset was in the Entertainer of the Year category where Lainey Wilson, a first-time Entertainer nominee, won the top prize. “It finally feels like country music is starting to love me back,” she said through tears. Wilson beat out...

Civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton is in shock after his ex-wife and oldest daughter were charged with resisting arrest following an alleged altercation with New York City traffic police, insisting the incident is "highly questionable".
Kathy Jordan, 53, and her 23-year-old daughter Dominique, were pulled over in Harlem at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday for allegedly speeding through a red light to pass a police car.
The pair were taken into custody after an argument erupted with authorities over attempts to issue a summons for the traffic violation, reports the New York Daily News.
Dominique was charged with resisting arrest and issued summonses for crossing the double yellow line and running the light.
Her mother was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
The pair were issued tickets and released later the same day.
Sharpton is now investigating if the New York Police Department handled the incident appropriately.
His lawyer, Michael Hardy, says, "How what was apparently a minor traffic dispute ended up with two arrests with desk-appearance tickets is highly questionable and unusual... Reverend Sharpton has been made aware of the details of the matter and will aggressively support his daughter and her mother, despite their announced change of marital status in 2003."
Sharpton and Jordan married in 1980 and divorced after 23 years together. In addition to Dominique, the ex-couple also share 22-year-old daughter, Ashley.
