Bite Me, Machinima's original zombie apocalypse comedy series, is coming back for seconds—this time on TV. Today Machinima Chairman and CEO Allen DeBevoise and Lionsgate’s Curt Marvis announced an expanded second season of Bite Me premiering on March 6 on the Machinima Network and FEARnet, the Lionsgate, Sony and Comcast backed television cable network for horror, thriller and suspense. ShoulderHill Entertainment co-founder Steven Addair announced a quintet of fright features the company will be shooting soon under the banner of Five Flix to Fear. All five of the Flix, which run the gamut of horror sub-genres, will be lensed in 3D.
“Fans of horror are so underestimated, and that’s exactly what Five Flix to Fear is about—not underestimating the fans,” Addair says “There’s nothing like having the lights go down and watching a good horror movie. It’s our job to give them something they’ll enjoy.”
The lineup is as follows:
• Otis, written and to be directed by Halloween: H20 and 5ive Days To Midnight co-scripter Robert Zappia, is a variation on the Beauty and the Beast story in which the former is a sorority girl and the latter is a disfigured teen who supposedly died 30 years earlier.

From the folks behind the animated web series and comics Xombie comes Bite Me, a new live-action zombie comedy series that follows a group of heroic gamers vs. the undead.
