If you’ve been paying attention to director/producer Andrew Saullo‘s efforts while filming his Resident Evil short The Keeper, you know that he managed to track down and reunite three of the original actors who starred in the opening cutscene for Resident Evil. Over the holidays, Saullo released the last of the videos he managed to film with the trio, which involve a mix of behind-the-scenes footage, as well as Charlie Kraslavsky (aka Chris Redfield) firing off a real Samurai Edge handgun.
The first video has Kraslavsky at a shooting range in Cedar City, Ut using the famous custom Beretta 92F, which is decked out with S.T.A.R.S. insignias. On loan from Scott Alker, Kraslavsky notes the gun’s aesthetics before going through some target practice. Kraslavsky also tests out several other weapons with the Iron County Sheriff’s Office. It was all part of...

Director/producer Andrew Saullo is back once again with another video involving the trio of actors from the original Resident Evil cutscenes. This time, it’s a short film entitled Resident Evil: Resurrection, which stars Charlie Kraslavsky, Greg Smith and Eric Pirius, reprising their roles as Chris Redfield, Barry Burton and Albert Wesker, respectively.
The three minute short sees Chris Redfield teaming up with former partner, Barry Burton, to deal with Albert Wesker once again. If you recall the image that appeared online back in June that featured Kraslavsky as Chris, that was Resident Evil: Resurrection.
Saullo states that the short was made with little in the way of resources, but could potentially be turned into a more in-depth short with higher production values if fans show interest. This would be separate from Saullo’s main project, an adaptation of The Keeper’s Diary starring Kraslavsky as the Umbrella researcher...

When the first "Resident Evil'' movie dropped in 2002, it spawned a highly profitable horror franchise centered around an original character named Alice (Milla Jovovich). Inspired by the iconic video game series of the same name, the "Resident Evil" films lived and died by Alice, relegating characters from the games like Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, Carlos Olivera, Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Barry Burton and antagonists Albert Wesker and James Marcus to second fiddle.
The "Resident Evil" movies are more times than not, negatively received by critics, but the "Resident Evil" franchise is the highest-grossing zombie film...

More information regarding Resident Evil: Revelations 3 has emerged, this time concerning potential characters.
For those that missed it earlier this week, reputable insider AestheticGamer (Aka Dusk Golem) corroborated previous rumors that a third installment in the survival horror series’ popular spinoff is in the works and, what’s more, is being developed specifically with the Switch in mind. That’s not to say the unconfirmed title will be exclusive to Nintendo’s hybrid console, however, as the leak states that it’ll also be available for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
That being the case, it’s likely that this offshoot of the main franchise will be a smaller, more modestly budgeted affair to accommodate the Switch’s less powerful hardware, but that certainly doesn’t mean its creator would give Revelations 3 any less care and attention. According to Dusk Golem, in fact, former S.T.A.R.S. member and fan favorite protagonist,...

If you were already struggling to keep track of all the Resident Evil content slated to release in 2021 and beyond, today’s spin of the rumor mill definitely isn’t going to help matters.
According to new details provided by reputable leaker AestheticGamer over on Twitter, Capcom is currently in the process of developing a sequel to oft-overlooked spinoff, Revelations 2. Frustratingly, the insider refuses to share any concrete details about the project beyond its existence, having only mentioned it in the first place in order to clarify earlier comments from one user concerning a supposed follow-up to another offshoot, Outbreak. That being the case, then, it’s impossible to discern exactly what shape or form a continuation of 2015’s installment would take, though we can certainly hazard a guess based purely on previous entries.
For those not aware of the series’ background, the original Revelations released exclusively for Nintendo 3Ds...
