Wow I loved this movie
6 May 2024
First of all, don't mind tha bad reviewers here, cause I absolutely loved this movie, best movie I've seen this year so far. Tarot immerses viewers in a chilling world where the supernatural and the human psyche collide. From the opening scene, the film grips audiences with its eerie atmosphere and spine-tingling suspense. Directorial mastery brings to life a haunting tale, skillfully blending elements of horror and psychological thriller. The cinematography is both mesmerizing and unsettling, setting the stage for an unforgettable cinematic experience. As the story unfolds, the tension mounts, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats, their nerves electrified with anticipation. With a cast that delivers performances brimming with raw emotion and intensity, tarot delves deep into the darkest corners of the human soul. Each twist and turn keeps audiences guessing, culminating in a climax that will leave them breathless. Tarot is a must-see for horror fans, offering a gripping journey into the depths of fear and the unknown.

Dune (2021)
6/10
Honest review? Meh...
22 March 2024
I've heard so much about this movie, so the high IMDb score made me watch this movie. Wel I felt many things while watching this movie it's not worth such a high rating. I had trouble concentrating on the storyline and I sometimes didn't know what was actually happening. Despite the stellar cast, performances feel somewhat flat, failing to fully capture the depth of the source material. Overall, "Dune" is a decent watch for fans of sci-fi spectacle, but falls short of delivering a truly memorable cinematic experience.

This one is highly overrated. I score this movie a fair 6/10. Maybe part 2 will up things?

The best movie of the franchise!
17 March 2024
"Star Trek: First Contact" stands as the pinnacle of the franchise, offering an exhilarating blend of action, drama, and philosophical depth that captivates both die-hard Trekkies and newcomers alike. The film expertly weaves together elements of time travel, the relentless pursuit of the Borg, and the enduring spirit of exploration embodied by the crew of the Enterprise. Captain Picard's personal vendetta against the cybernetic menace adds a compelling layer of character development, showcasing his struggle to overcome the trauma of his own assimilation.

Visually stunning and thematically rich, "First Contact" explores themes of resilience, redemption, and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. The performances are top-notch, with Patrick Stewart delivering a tour de force portrayal of Picard's inner conflict, while the supporting cast shines in their respective roles.

The film's action sequences are pulse-pounding and meticulously choreographed, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats throughout. Yet, it's the film's underlying message of hope and the indomitable human will that truly sets it apart. Despite the darkness of the Borg threat, "First Contact" ultimately celebrates the triumph of the human spirit over adversity, inspiring audiences to believe in the possibility of a better future.

Moreover, the film's exploration of the nature of humanity and the consequences of unchecked technological advancement resonates deeply in an era defined by rapid technological progress. In many ways, "First Contact" serves as a cautionary tale, reminding us of the importance of ethical considerations and the preservation of our humanity in the pursuit of progress.

In summary, "Star Trek: First Contact" is a masterpiece of science fiction cinema that transcends the boundaries of the genre. Its captivating story, compelling characters, and thought-provoking themes make it not only the best movie in the franchise but also a timeless classic that continues to resonate with audiences to this day.

Best of the Hunger Games movied
19 November 2023
I just got back from watching this movie, I liked it very much. Tom Blyth did and awesome job portraying Snow. The movie stars of slow, getting to now the timeline we are in and the characters and than the plot starts picking up speed and we are in the Hunger Games again. I was a bit hesitant about this being a prequel of the original franshise movies but this absolutely did not disappoint. I hope this could be a start of a new streak of movies in the Hunger Games franshise. If you are a fan or not you will definitely like this movie. 2 hours and a half flew by.

I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

Star Trek: Enterprise (2001–2005)
9/10
Great Trek series victim of bad timing...
2 July 2023
Star trek Enterprise is set 100 years before the original stra trek, Wich makes the series stand alone by itself. Early 2000 was a cruel time for star trek, a lot of other sci Fi shows out there and viewer ratings were harder to keep happy, so this sho is a victim of bad timing... This show had 10x more viewers than most of the shows that are on today. Enterprise is a great series, seasons 1 and 2 you get to know the main cast in stand alone episodes and season 3 is a big story arc which was awesome. Season 4 is where the show really found its footing, exploring more of the early relations between vulcans, andorians, tellarites... It's sad that the show ended too soon. But today 98 episodes is still a big number.

What was this??
22 April 2023
I love strange new worlds even though it's in a time period that I don't like that much... We saw the return of episodic star trek which is about bloody time. So after 9 great episodes we get to the final episode of strange new worlds season one. I understand the episode bit it was so dark, way too long and kind of boring... It felt more like a discovery episode to me and that's not a complement. I'm not going into a lot of detail but I hope season 2 will continue the crews voyages as they were in the first nine episodes.

Good lord why do we have to write 600 characters in these reviews? Ok I'm at 600.

Star Trek: Picard: The Last Generation (2023)
Season 3, Episode 10
10/10
The send off we always wanted
20 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What an amazing season it has been. I've always been sad how the crew of the next generation went out with Star Trek Nemesis back in 2002. This time around we got to see this legacy crew back together, all of them. In this last episode I got all the feels, 3/4 of the episode is action and the conclusion to this epic season's storyline, with the enterprise D tackling a huge Borg cube. And 1/4 is what's happening after. We see the 'new' generation take command of the Enterprise G with captain seven and the TNG crew having fun together. And last but not least, a cliffhanger with Q?

Let make that sequel please!!!!!!

Absolute perfection!
13 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I have nothing negative to say about this episode, every week gets better and better. It's been a joy watching this season of Picard every week. We finally found out what's behind the red door and boy I didn't expect this at all, this is some genius writing here! This episode is exiting and thrilling as the story goes on, and yes to top everything of we got the old crew together on the enterprise D again, now we know what Geordi was doing at the fleet museum, he spend 20 years restoring there old ship. I got goosebumps all over when they took off in the good old enterprise. To me this episode is worth a 'solid' 10. (Changeling joke) to me this is by far the best trek season out there!

And there is still one episode to go, I can't wait what will be in store for us next week!

We definitely need more of this 'Legacy' star trek. Bring in voyager and ds9 too!!!

What a fun ride!
6 April 2023
Last week's episode wasnt as great as the ones before that but this week it's spot on again. The story continues to move forward and we finally got to see Deanna troi in the flesh! So 8 episodes in and this is really an incredible season, the writers and also the actors did a phenomenal job. I'm not going to spoil anything but this is the episode that puts the entire The next generation crew together at the briefing table as seen on the trailers. Pace of the episode was great, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. And yes... It ended with a huge cliffhanger again. Next week we'll see another familiar face guest starring I can't wait to find out. Go watch and enjoy!!! This is real star trek!

This is great!
4 April 2023
I'm a huge fan of dystopian films and series, so I was very surprised at the announcement of this series in my own country. So I started this yesterday and I'm almost at the end. And boy this does not disappoint, I think some people are shortminded and just don't get it, if it's not your genre than simply don't watch it. Yes it's 'slow' paced but it's certainly not boring at all! It's a dystopian series and also a drama series, it has a vibe that really sucks you into the story from the very first episode. When an episode ends you just want to watch more. I also think it's very well acted by Belgian and dutch actors. It really reminds me of the handmaid's tale and Black mirror. So if you like disntopian sci fi pls enjoy!

Amazing episode!
25 March 2023
First of all I have a great love for deep space nine, The Next Generation and Voyager. Now it's joy to watch every week. While every star trek season we got since 2017 has been struggling... Every episode in this season has been phenomenal, the story is perfect, bringing back an old villain is genius, the pacing is good, nothing feels like filler, the story just keeps going and getting more and more exciting by the episode. There is a lot of nostalgic moments and it feels like a true modern post TNG sequel and more! These actors still got it, and they're even better than before. The writers this season actually know what they are doing, and Terry is amazing.

Let's hope that there will be some sort of spin off after this, cause this is the star trek many of us have been waiting for.

Star Trek: Picard: Seventeen Seconds (2023)
Season 3, Episode 3

Hell yes worth a solid 10 , best star trek episode since 2005
3 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Three episodes in star trek Picard season 3 is plenty strong, especially when compared to the other first two questionable seasons... The storytelling is clear, the pacing is just good, and the characters are in depth and offcource familiar faces. As stated in a previous review, this season of Star trek Picard feels like a really good "Next Generation" movie. Also has a feel of the TOS movies like the wrath of Khan etc.

So as I said the pace of this season has been everything but dull, with revelations coming steadily and logically. The character moments, likewise, have been explored with tact and the showrunners have allowed conversations to play out in full.

In my opinion having all the next generation cast joining this season is a brilliant move and one that we as fans have been hoping for for many years, yes they are older but they are still as good as we remember and even better, keep in mind that there has been more than 20 years that past since we last saw them, so their lives changed as well.

This episode kept me at the edge of my seat, and when it was revealed that the changelings are back my mouth fell open. I cannot wait what other surprises will be in store for us this season. THIS IS STAR TREK, THANK YOU TERRY!!!!

Let's hope after this season we can have more trek like this with more legendary characters.

Good for the first half hour
15 August 2022
Started off so good and than got bad real quick. The story is weird, the metallic like creatures were stupid... it was almost like watching a transformer movie without much story. Just some weird creatures tearing down the city and fighting each other. And than Godzilla started blowing blue fire??? Pls Don't bother with this one, it's better to watch the original!

Best movie trilogy that exists!
22 July 2022
I was 9 when the fellowship was released, and 11 when this movie came around. I can honestly say that I've lost count at how many times I've watched these movies. The're a true masterpiece, the story by Tolkien is magical and the way they honored this with these movies is superb. Even to this day the movies are flawless!

Not that good
2 July 2022
It was not bad and not good, there is no horror in this movie, the story is poor and poorly executed. I'm baffled at all the good reviews, I think it's all very overrated, people saying that it's the best horror movie?? They probably never saw any horror movie.

22 June 2022
I loves this series , finally some story instead of constant space battles. I didnt think star wars could be good as a series, cause to movies are so action packed and basic storyline. I think star wars took a note from star trek. Well done!

Baffled at all the bad reviews
21 June 2022
I mean, to me this is the best star wars in years. It's a good story and action packed. Nice to see Ewan McGregor back in action as obi wan Kenobi. Nice to see what happened between episode 3 and 4. I think all the haters don't know what a good story is anymore, sometimes it doesn't have to be space battles all the time. I'm more into star trek than star wars so I can appreciate the maturity of this series. Star wars has always been more marketed for kids, cause it's very basic meaning the classic good vs evil. Now we finally getting the gaps filled with story!

Best orville episode to date!
13 June 2022
Season 3 has certainly started of more strong and more serious, yes there are still jokes and our favorite crew are all still there. This episode was like a one hour horror space movie, with a mix of voyagers the void, some species 8472 stuff and TNG's Genesis. Very good episode!

What is Q up to?
2 April 2022
First of all many of these reviews are way to harsh, with the first two episodes being full of action, now the story is building with more mystery and more characters added. This episodes introduced a new Soong character, we know know who the watcher is and the crew gets back together also we see how the 'relationship' progresses between the Borg queen and jurati. So plenty of stuff happening in one episode. This episode for me should rate a 7,5 stars. So I gave it 8. Good episode. Can't wait for next week!
