Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3 (2022)
awful dissapointment
I really enjoyed with my daughters zombies 1 & 2, songs, choreography and even plot was great, and they had great expectation for this #3, to the point of watching in on the opening day on Disney+.
But... Everything that made 1 & 2 good disappeared here, all the song are bad, all the costumes are so cheap, there is no choreography significant as it was with BAM or We own the night or Flesh & Bones or... the point is that they are not even close to the first two, if it were not the same actors i would have said that this is a bad copy as those remakes that use to be made in turkey or India back in the 80s (no disrespect, but those copies were bad & cheap... just like this zombies 3 is).
And it is not just my opinion, my two daughters (aged 10 & 12) has the same feeling about this movie. So disappointing. Stay away if you want to remember zombies like a good series of films.
RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) (2022)
I am absolutely and completely blown away
This movie is incredible, it is a typical Indian movie, with all the typical stereotypes and elements of their filming culture, including the dances in the middle of the movie. But they have managed to take all these elements, a simple plot and still they've created a jewel.
Visually I've found it great, the effects are of the best quality that has nothing to envy of Hollywood, it's almost like seeing matrix being made by the Indians.
I think this movie has created a before and after for Bollywood and now the measurement line for Indian productions has increased greatly.
The plot is simple, but no one is not looking for something different than that in an action movie, this one is very well produced and presented.
The Batman (2022)
BORING
This has to be probably the worst Batman movie i've ever seen, the movie is absolutely boring, no emotion, no nothing... only darkness, which makes the movie so hard to see and understandable.
Definitely DC has no clue on how to make a super hero movie.
This is a disaster. Do yourself a favor, watch the series from the 60's... it will be more fun than this one.
No Time to Die (2021)
Worst Bond Movie Ever... Complete Disappointment
I can't believe what I've just seen, this is by far the worst Bond movie ever made and one of the worst movies I've seen in so long. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON IT!
There are so many problems with this movie that I don't even know where to start, so I'll try to summarize them.
1st, a Bond movie is supposed to be about action, about gadgets invented by Q, about a villain that has a great incredible plan and instead we found a romantic history, with bad romance, a movie that tries to be with "dialog" only to be incredibly boring, the lines makes no sense, the action scenes are so little and so boring that it seems that where just a last minute addition because someone remembered what is supposed to be Bond.
2nd, the essence of James Bond is about it's attitude towards life, toward rules and toward womens, he is not a family man, he wasn't never intended to be a family man, much less with a lady that is 20Y younger than him. If you wanted to create a romantic, fake, boring movie about a romance like this, then do it, but don't call it James bond. It is an insult to the franchise.
3rd. The ending. Come on, seriously? That is how you wanted to show the death of James Bond? After defeating a criminal in one of the most boring fight scenes ever, he just decides to sacrifice himself, not even giving time to Q to think about potential solutions?... no emotion, no thrill, no nothing.
Do yourself a favor, if you are a fan of Bond movies, don't watch it. If on the other hand you'd like to see a very boring bad-romance fake-action movie, then watch it at home, there is no one single reason to pay for this movie.
Terminator Genisys (2015)
Surprisingly Good
I have to say it: i didn't had good expectations for this movie, may be because T2 was so good, may be because T3 and T4 lowered so down the line that i wasn't expecting much or may be because Arnold's age. But you know what? this movie really surprised me!!!... it was fun, entertained, fresh from the very beginning. It has some humour scenes that made me remember the John McClane from the 80s and a completely new history where John Connor is no longer last hope from humanity, but from Skynet!.
If you liked T2, you should see this one. Give it a try the way i did it, you might be surprised!.
Interstellar (2014)
Great movie
I have to say, that i wasn't expecting that much from this movie as what i've got from seeing it. Even that the resemblance with 2001: A Space Odyssey is quite obvious in so many dimensions that one might think that this is a remake of that. But even that idea is close, this movie manages to make itself a different history that combines the most precious love relationship possible: the love for your kids, with the most primitive of all loves and the more selfish one: the love for yourself.
For me it wasn't a surprise, after certain point that the so-called ghost was going to be some sort of cooper trying to talk to murph ( may be because i read and saw 2001's book and movie ), but the way how to get there i've found it lovable.
Also i loved that "the bad guy" wasn't the machine but just the humans trying to survive ( first with brand's foolishness and then with Mann's hidden agenda ).
Great movie. You have to watch it, won't regret.
Spectre (2015)
Absolutely Disappointing
This has been the worst bond movie i've seen.... and i've watched them all. This was absolutely boring, with poor action scenes, with no speed, completely lack of emotion and full of links to other movies that didn't add anything to the movie.
And there are no cool gadgets, come on, let's be realistic, what makes bond bond are his style and his very unbelievable so-cool gadgets that Q made, now this q, not only doesn't make cool gadgets, but the car was without ammunition!!!... And worst of all, Q was been chased and he gets away so naively, that almost make me believe i was watching the goonies.
The car chase was boring, exiting the car with a bad copy of XXX final scene.
Who was with Moneypeny and why was that important to bring it to the movie?
The fight between C and M couldn't be worst and boring.
This was really really terrible. if you are a long time fan of JB's movies do yourself a favor: Get away of this movie and forget about it.
Tierra de sangre (2013)
A lot better that what i thought
I must confess, i only went to see this movie because my wife received the ticket in the supermarket because we are good customer. And since i didn't have anything better to do i decided to give it a shot and try it, any how the ticket was free.
And maybe because i had so low expectation, i loved this movie. It is not a normal way to describe common clichés in a romantic history.
Go with you mind open and you might find yourself loving this movie the way i did. They have their own holy grail but they are not truly immortal, they're just eternally young, not the traditional vampire monster, just another humans that have found the formula to live forever.
They also use a real historical fact not commonly known by people outside the wine community: The wine plague, which at today it is still incurable and that makes Chile almost the only place in the world where french strains survived
Frozen (2013)
Definitely, this is not the typical Disney's princess history
Ever since i saw this movie for the first time, i just loved it, it is an history where the main characters share the most beautiful love of all possible loves, the brotherly love
This movie send a message that i really love for my two daughters, that the love for your sister is the most "true love act" that you can find, and that you cannot fall in love for a person you just met.
Most of the other Disney princess stories always end pretty much the same way, when a prince defending the helpless princess that was nothing without her prince.
Don't get me wrong i love Disney movies, but this one, for the first time, has THE MESSAGE, a message that i can discuss with my daughters, without having to worry for them to think they're not complete without their princes.
I LOVE this movie, i must have seen it with my daughters hundreds of times.
Gravity (2013)
Outstanding movie
I have to be honest, i got into this film because i got late and i couldn't make it to the other movie i went there to see. But when it ended, i was absolutely surprised with this film.
It is amazing how you can have the spectator's full attention when you only have two actors in half of the movie... but when on the other half you have is a monologue, and you still manage to retain the people's attention in the movie, you realize that this is an outstanding film.
I don't know, may be it is because i went there just looking for a relaxed time with my wife and, i had this movie's expectation so low, that anything will blow my mind, but i believe that this movie should have some prizes for the script
