The Batman (2022)
The Batman is a Awesome Movie
'The Batman' is a great film, and this is coming from a person who's only watched one other Batman film aside from this one.
Yes, the movie is far from perfect, but it still remains thoroughly enjoyable. You can tell the crew really was passionate while making this movie. The action sequences, the cinematography, and the acting all feel full of effort, which gives the audience a more positive outlook on the film. The Riddler is a so-so villain; he felt more like some random serial killer than the character he was actually based upon, and his backstory and how they crafted him just felt so.....bland.
The entire cast was (generally) good, and I actually liked Pattinson as Batman (although his Bruce Wayne was less than favorable). However, what makes this film really shine is the cinematography and tone. Not everyone will like it, but the grittiness and gloominess that hangs over the movie is great. Overall a really good movie, not the best Batman film, but certainly close.

Tenkû no shiro Rapyuta (1986)
Castle in the Sky Is Captivating, Suspenseful, and Visually Stunning
Castle in the Sky is my favorite animated movie of all time. Everything about it, the animation, the story, the music, the characters, the aesthetic, the writing, the world, it's all perfect!
It's the studio's first official film, made nearly 50 years ago, but it still holds up really well, although the animation may be inferior to what some companies produce nowadays. Castle in the Sky has this unique charm to it that I can't quite explain. In every single scene in the movie, even the parts where disaster is happening, the frames manage to be visually pleasing and beautiful. Sheeta and Pazu are admittedly far from the best protagonists I've seen in a film, but they're still fun to watch. It's also one of the few Studio Ghibli productions to have a genuine villain, that being Colonel Muska. He's despicable, cunning, and steals every scene he's in. The sky pirates, agents, and the army add to the movie as well.
All 125 minutes of this movie, from when Sheeta first escapes the airship to the destruction of Laputa, I never feel bored. I can't explain in words how much I adore this film. Miyazaki is a genius of animation.

Better Call Saul: Uno (2015)
Uno: A Terrific First Episode
After five seasons of BCS (yes, I'm not quite finished yet), I can still say, without the smallest bit of doubt, that Uno is a perfect pilot.
It introduces Jimmy McGill, struggling lawyer with a sense of humor and no money, attempt to pull a elaborate ruse on Betsy Kettleman to receive an embezzlement case. To do this, he needs the help of two other people, Lars and Cals, a pair of skateboarders. The episode also introduces Jimmy's (seemingly) kind brother Chuck, Howard Hamlin, Kim Wexler, and Mike, all of whom would become major character later on in the show.
Uno does everything perfectly. The cinematography, the acting, the writing, the plot, the tone, it's perfect, all of it. The characters feel fleshed out and real, which is impressive given the fact it's only been a single episode, and perhaps more importantly, it leaves you with the question of what's going to happen next. The first episode is everything you could ever want from a premiere episode of a spinoff series.

Death Note: Desu nôto: Rebirth (2006)
Ominous and Well Written: An Amazing Premiere
I decided to start watching Death Note because the premise seemed so unique. A genius high school student gets a notebook from a God of Death that can kill anyone he wants? Count me in! After watching, I was not let down, in fact, I believe that this episode exceeded all my expectations.
The series hooks you in within the first 5 minutes. The opening music is phenomenal, the animation style is visually pleasing and well done, and the writing is fantastic. It's very easy to follow, but not to the point it feels overly simple.
Upon rewatch, it's fascinating to see Light, freaking out over the death of a guy who admittedly deserved it, eventually turn into the very thing he hated. Just in the span of one episode, Light has already done away with many criminals. Ryuk and the rules of the notebook are introduced and sets up what's to come perfectly. A perfect premiere all around.

Death Note: Desu nôto: Taiketsu (2006)
Light Meets His Match...
Who would have thought that the second episode of a series would be my favorite one? Confrontation is a phenomenal episode and provides a introduction to one of the best detectives in television history, L.
This episode is suspenseful, intriguing, and has many pivotal moments of the show. It's interesting to see Light, cunning as ever, delve more into madness with his idea of justice.
The first confrontation between L and Light is a masterpiece and sets the stage for the mental chess game that would take place in the later episodes. In just over 20 minutes, it accomplishes more than what most shows do in triple the time. Light Yagami has finally met his match.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Help Wanted/Reef Blower/Tea at the Treedome (1999)
A Great Start to a Great Show
Where to start, where to start...
This is the first episode of the show, released 22 years ago, and features 3 segments packed into one.
Help Wanted at a brief glimpse looks okay, nothing special, just your average Nickelodeon show, but the true greatness is in the characters, humor, and the writing. All the characters in this episode went on to become some of the most well known characters in cartoon history. However, I will say Help Wanted is far from the best in the series, but it's still a far cry from the worst. Even in the first episode, the characters have lots of dimension and personality in them. The episode was a strong premiere for the series.
Now on to Reef blower, it has a cool concept represented in a nice way, and as far as I know, it's the only episode in the entire show that has no words, and thats part of the reason why I like it so much. I can already say the animation has gotten better. It has a strange concept of SpongeBob sucking up the ocean, but hey it's a cartoon! My least favorite out of the 3 but still great.
And finally, Tea at the Treedome. This episode has the first appearance of Sandy, a squirrel in a rocket suit and features SpongeBob having tea with her (hence the title). This is my favorite episode of the bunch because of the story and a introduction to one of the most interesting characters in the show.
Overall the episode that started it all is great, and enjoyable enough to recommend to any demographic. It set the bar high with it's vibrant characters and humorous jokes.

Cartoon Beatbox Battles (2016)
Good Show, lots of effort
Cartoon Beatbox Battles is a show where two cartoon characters compete against each other in beatboxing competitions. Yes, the idea sounds crude on paper, but surprisingly, Cartoon Beatbox Battles manages to be entertaining.
The first episode was Spongebob vs. Mickey Mouse, then Pikachu vs. Groot, and so on and so forth. Whoever wins the round gets to move on and compete again, simply put, the show has a bracket (i.e., Spongebob won, and then he went against Deadpool). If this were an actual show, my rating would be much lower, but since it's actually just one person voicing all the characters and paying the animators, this is terrific. Cool beats, nice animation, and some corny humor-it has it all.
However, a minor complaint I have is the fact that the animation style always changes once in a while; this is inconsistent and confuses me, but I think that it's just a small inconvenience. Overall, go check out Cartoon Beatbox Battles on Youtube; the series is worth a watch.
