Help Wanted: Encouraged by his best friend, Patrick Starfish, SpongeBob overcomes his fears and finally applies for that dream job as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab. Challenged by the owner, Mr. Krabs, and his assistant Squidward, to prove himself worthy of the job, SpongeBob rises to the occasion, with the help of one very special spatula, by feeding a sea of ravenous anchovies. Reef Blower: SpongeBob's tendencies toward the extreme are highlighted in this four minute short. In an attempt to keep his yard meticulous, Squidward picks up the single shell sitting in an otherwise perfect lawn and tosses it over to SpongeBob's yard. Finding the perfect use for his electric, high powered 'reef blower,' SpongeBob goes to work. Squidward had no idea what chaos lay in store for his quiet afternoon at home. Narrator: Ah, the sea. So fascinating, so wonderful. Here, we see Bikini Bottom, teaming with life. Home of one of my favorite creatures: Spongebob Squarepants. Yes, of course he lives in a pineapple, you silly.

Started a Great Cartoon On Nick!
12 September 2013 | by (Seymour Tennessee) – See all my reviews

This started the beginning of a great cartoon series. As it was both for the young and old. And the adults and children alike. Love the adventures and mis-adventures of a lovable sponge named SpongeBob Squarepants.

We learn how he got his job at the Krusty Krab as the cook and that he had to get confidence from his best friend, lovable yet empty headed Patrick Starfish.

And also meets the karate loving Sandy Squirrel who lives in a bio dome with air and also dresses like an astronaut. Despite the fact she misses TX, she learns to live with the others in peace later on.

Still a great start to a great series that has lasted more than any other Nick cartoons and still going strong!
