Speed Racer (2008)
Could be higher if it wasn't for...
I don't love nor hate this film. I enjoy it unlike the haters.
The visuals and acting, plus soundtrack are spot on. I used to have a crush on Emile Hirsch in this film.
But honestly, I could rate this movie higher if Spirtle and his pet monkey wasn't so annoying in this movie. That's my only problem with this film.
Knight of Cups (2015)
The only Natalie Portman movie I absolutely hate
I don't have much to say about this movie, but I'm feeling the need to complain.
Nothing against the actors (especially Natalie and Christian), it's not their fault, they did their best. But I've never understood the meaning of this movie. It's just that the film is so slow on pacing and dialogue is out of place. The acting is the only thing that could impress me.
Just so boring. I didn't break a sweat watching it.
Like I said, out of all the movies she's been in, this is my least favorite Natalie Portman movie. And she's the main reason why I watched this movie.
If anyone hasn't watched it yet, my advice is: DON'T.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021)
Okay, but too short for me
As much as I enjoyed it, especially the voice casting choices, couldn't they have made this movie a bit more longer? Fifty Eight Minutes? Are you serious?
I have nothing against the animation or the plot, but the time length of this movie is ridiculous. I was expecting it to be longer than an hour.
Eating Animals (2017)
Great film, even for non-vegetarians
Although I eat some meat products, I absolutely love this film. It was able to have me want to give up pork products. I can't stand the taste of pork anymore anyway. Unfortunately, I have yet to read the book, especially since Natalie Portman has read it. Huge fan of her and she did an amazing job on narrating this documentary. Plus, the amazing director and cast and crew. I hope to see more documentaries like this.
Love and Other Impossible Pursuits (2009)
Great film and good lead female roles
Even though her character is a jerk to start with, Lisa Kudrow is one of my favorites. Especially Natalie; who I've always been a fan.
Vox Lux (2018)
Interesting movie and great soundtrack
Aw gosh I love Natalie Portman. And Raffey Cassidy did great too. The soundtrack was so amazing and gosh, I think this is the first movie I've heard Natalie sing before (Despite The Professional.) I'm not normally a big Sia fan, but I think songs like Breathe Me, Cheap shills, and the soundtrack from this film are all really great. It kind of pisses me off though that they didn't make a longer and complete version music video for "Wrapped Up." All I found on YouTube is a video that's like 2 and a half minutes long. But the full song is actually like 4 minutes long, wtf? Still though, good film, I don't care what anyone says. Natalie's accent in this movie is hilarious btw.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
Screw the haters
Love this movie. I don't understand the hate for it. Despite the prequels and Originals being better, I actually like this movie better than the boring sequels. Matt Lanter cute!
A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015)
Awesome movie! I love Natalie Portman!
Pretty cool movie! Natalie Portman did great at acting, directing and the whole screenplay. She's one of my favorite actresses! It's probably not just my opinion, but I'd love for Portman to direct another film. Also the kid who played Oz as a young boy did fantastic.
Fred: The Movie (2010)
Good movie, but Fred is annoying
Great movie and hilarious. However, the only problem is that Fred is SO ANNOYING. Still, I like John Cena. He's good looking. Jeanette McCurdy; Hilarious and sensitive as always! I like her in Icarly. I don't Kevin, but the guy that plays him; Jake Weary, is hot.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007)
Awesome ad fun movie!
Awesome movie! Love Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman. Pretty funny moments. I was only 6 or 7 years old when this film came out, but d*mn, I remember seeing a trailer for this, and I knew it was gonna be great. Portman is fantastic as always!
The Lucy Show: Lucy Gets a Roommate (1966)
Best classic show episode ever
My mom has a VHS with this episode in it. I would watch it all the time when I was little. Funny episode. This gets quite more amusing though since this episode aired the same year my mom was born. Almost 20 years old, I still watch this show online. Both me and mom are Lucy and Carol fans. Favorite Lucy show episode.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Zac is awesome, don't get me wrong
Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful film. I have been a Zac Efron fan since High School Musical came out, and still am. Casting and dialogue is good. The plot? Could be better. All it talks about is the boring trial and love life of Ted Bundy. No murder scenes or nothing. That's my only problem with this movie though. I love the acting and dialogue. Not bad. Zac Efron never lets me down.
Dahmer (2002)
Better than some films
First of all, I LOVE Jeremy Renner! LOVE!! But the reason why I rate this a 5 is because...Well...Some scenes bored me. The second reason is that I still enjoy Jeremy's parts of the movie. Let's face it: This is better than some films!! Still...There are scenes I have to skip in this movie. In fact, I prefer the Ted Bundy movie.
Ted Bundy (2002)
Great movie, but strange reference
Such a great movie! Although I swear to god, I thought I saw a Scooby Doo gang reference in one scene. Sometime right after Bundy murdered his second victim. There were 4 people walking a dog. Weird! Other than that, fantastic film!
