Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
As much as we all hoped and prayed that WWE wouldn’t go the obvious route, they only went ahead and did it anyway, shamelessly putting Roman Reigns over Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar (clean!) to ensure him a one-way ticket to WrestleMania 32.
The internet backlash has, of course, been venomous. #CancelWWENetwork found itself trending worldwide once more, just as it did in the aftermath of the 2015 Royal Rumble – another match which ensured that Reigns would be appearing in the main event of ‘Mania.
Of course, most of the chatter on Reddit, Twitter, and various message-boards has centred around that booking decision, but people still had a lot to say about the other matches on the card. Again, not much of it is positive – but it sure as hell makes for an entertaining read. Here are fifteen of the best...

Is it just me, or was everyone feeling a little angry during this week’s Raw? The internet activity surrounding the show saw people calling one another out left, right and centre – from fans to the WWE superstars themselves. One brave soul even decided to target the angriest man on the internet right now: Kanye West himself.
Perhaps everybody feels a little testy in the build to WrestleMania, or maybe it’s simply a case of winter blues, but there were definitely nasty overtones to a lot of the banter being banded about on Twitter, Reddit, and the like.
Hopefully we can all calm down by next week – although if Fastlane turns out to be the catastrophe many of us are predicting it to be, I’m not sure that’ll be the case.

Dean Ambrose walked into WWE Raw Monday night as the Intercontinental Champion. He left Raw with…a lighter suitcase.
Following a dive in the television ratings last week, WWE attempted to grab their fan’s interest early on this week during the broadcast. The show started off with Dean Ambrose and Stephanie McMahon trading verbal jabs in the ring. Ambrose had talked about how he expected to experience an F5 tonight due to his actions last week during Raw (low-blowing Brock). Stephanie told him that he was going to get an F5, just not the kind he was expecting.
She said F5 would stand for Fatal Five-way tonight, leading to a Ambrose defending his Intercontinental Championship against Kevin Owens, Stardust, Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler to start the show. McMahon also gave the match the stipulation that if Reigns interfered, Ambrose would lose his spot in the main event at Fastlane this Sunday.
