I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of those reality ghost hunting shows. I find them extremely entertaining for some reason. Well, writer and director Andrew P. Jones took the basic concept of those shows and turned it into a movie, but with everything a little over-exaggerated. The movie is called Haunting of Cellblock 11. It may not look like the best movie to some of you, but sometimes I enjoy watching a ridiculous B horror movie. Here's a detailed synopsis:

Shock received word today that Gravitas Ventures is bringing Haunting of Cellblock 11 to VOD on July 1st. Andrew P. Jones directs and the cast includes Jeffrey S.S. Johnson, Linara Washington, Charley Koontz, John Zderko and Dee Wallace. Jones says in a director's statement: "Having worked in reality TV for well over a decade, and being a big fan of paranormal reality shows I often found myself asking, “what if these ghost hunters actually found themselves in a location that is so active, so haunted that their lives were in real danger?”

British actor Mem Ferda has joined horror icon Dee Wallace to hunt ghosts in the Missouri State Penitentiary for the upcoming horror thriller, ‘Apparitional.’ Ferda, who is also serving as an associate producer on the film, has said he’s “pleased to have joined such a talented group of individuals” on the project, which also includes writer-director Andrew P. Jones. Ferda, who is producing ‘Apparitional’ with Jones, has described the film as being frightening. Picture Palace Films is developing the horror thriller Apparitional. This film was shot in Jefferson City, Missouri and other locations; the film is currently in post-production. Director Andrew P. Jones (Kings of the Evening) is helming this project, with horror icon Dee Wallace set to star. Recently, it has also been announced that actor Mem Ferda will take on producer duties for this reality show styled horror film. The film follows several ghost hunters. They hope to document real life spirits in an old closed down prison. The prison has a murderous history and some of that past comes back from the dead to haunt this, now, desperate film crew.
