A veteran TV actor will be turning up the heat on President Keane next season on Homeland.
Dylan Baker (The Good Wife, Damages) has joined the Season 7 cast of the Showtime thriller as a recurring guest star, TVLine has learned. Baker will play Senator Sam Paley, a maverick U.S. Senator from the Southwest — hmmm, sound like anyone we know? — who is aggressively investigating Keane’s abuse of power. (If you remember, last season ended with an assassination attempt on Keane, which led to her getting paranoid about an internal conspiracy, having Saul arrested and cutting Carrie out of her inner circle.

"Witches of East End" has come to the end of its first season with "Oh, What a World," and it's safe to say that no one is doing too well. Penelope Gardiner and Mike the writer are both very dead. Joanna has been poisoned. Killian is unconscious and drifting out to sea.
Ingrid, Freya, Wendy and are Ok though. Really stressed, but fine.
Oh, and someone opened the door to Asgard.
If you need a little more when it comes to status updates for the characters of "Witches of East End," here are a few details.
Definitely dead
Penelope: Being a villain never ends well when it comes to season finales, unfortunately for Penelope. It looks like she had the upper hand for awhile -- what with poisoning Joanna and stealing magic from Freya, Dash and Killian -- but Joanna and Wendy prove to be the winners. Unless Penelope somehow withstood a giant furnace,...

Previously on Pretty Little Liars, I. Marlene King told all the Rosewood denizens that they needed to keep the whole "Toby is dead" thing going until next week's season finale. Everyone was like, sure. Aria was like, "Seriously, I have been asking this for two weeks now: who the hell is Toby?" Episode 23!
The girls visit Spencer at Radley and she's still twisted off the crazy juice. They announce that Definitely Dead Toby's body is not the one Spencer saw, and she's like, "Yeah, it was." They're like, "No, it wasn't." Spencer doesn't want to leave, but Hanna's like "Listen, ho. There's roaches in here." "Whatever," Spencer mutters. "Don't wanna feel like I'm going to die every day in the outside world, thanks."
Next day, I guess. Emily and Hanna are bickering about each of their problems. Emily's problem is that Hanna is pretty much the worst roommate since Toby...

Though True Blood tried to distract viewers with everything from Vampire Tara to Evil Bill, we never forgot that this was supposed to be the season that Sookie hooked up with Alcide. So Wth happened?
“The decision to not do it this season [came about because] every single season, it’s been all about Sookie falling in love with this person or that person,” exiting showrunner Alan Ball tells TVLine. “It seemed like she had enough on her plate this season to not just [say], ‘Okay, now Sookie’s gonna fall in love with Alcide!’”
