Echoing what our own poll results reflected, Alan Pardew has come out in the wake of the Liverpool victory to confirm who he thinks is the best player so far this season, and it’s not Paul Dummett. It probably will be at some stage, but the young Geordie has been saved from the extra pressure for now because of the form of Moussa Sissoko.
We already knew the Frenchman was one of the first men on Pardew’s team-sheet, and now, thanks to some ridiculously good form in the past three two league games (and the Cup match against Man City), he’s getting extra credit from his manager.
When asked if it was helping Newcastle to be not as reliant on one player as they were with Yohan Cabaye, Pardew all but batted away the suggestion and said Sissoko was now that key player:

Regardless of the season, Irina Shayk has a way of making pretty much any clothing collection look absolutely fabulous.
The gorgeous Russian supermodel stars in SuiteBlanco’s Winter 2014 spread, though instead of bikinis, she sports black dresses and knit sweaters.
SuiteBlanco just released the first installment of Irina’s photographs from the shoot, promising another batch in November.
Meanwhile, Ms. Shayk stepped out with her boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo earlier this week for the Professional Soccer League Awards in Madrid, Spain. Ronaldo won Best Player, Best Goal and Best Forward.

To the casual observer the final Premier League table suggest a relatively stress free campaign for Newcastle after we finished up in 10th position and achieved the pre-season objective set by Mike Ashley.
But for every Toon supporter the second half of the season was an unmitigated failure as we plummeted from the fringes of the top-four and became embroiled in a mini-league battle with Southampton, Stoke and, surprising to most, Crystal Palace for the right to stay in the top-half.
Thus it makes selecting a Player of the Season that bit tougher as very few displayed enough consistency in 2014 to warrant inclusion in the reckoning for this most illustrious of awards.
Many will throw forward the names of Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy as the only two players to emerge with any shred of credibility from this most unsettling of seasons.

Manchester United are in the unusual position of already knowing that current captain Nemanja Vidic won’t be at the club next season. Therefore, David Moyes must decide one who would be the best man to lead the team next season. It’s also likely that a number of other senior players may also move on such as Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and even Robin van Persie.
It’s also reasonably likely that the squad will look quite different next season as Moyes looks to do a rebuilding job of sorts. One player that we all know will be integral to United’s plans next season and beyond is Wayne Rooney, especially now he has signed a new long-term deal – but it remains to be seen if he is seen as having right character for the role.

The FIFA Ballon D’or got 2014 off to the perfect start for Cristiano Ronaldo, as he held off Lionel Messi and Frank Ribery in one of the more hard-fought races of recent years. However, the name everyone is talking about now is the one that arrived in a distant 22nd place with 0.16% of the votes – Eden Hazard.
Jose Mourinho’s return to Chelsea has coincided with Hazard emerging as the side’s talisman, one that gets the fans of their seats, and arguably more so than former fan favourite Juan Mata, who has been displaced as Chelsea’s attacking fulcrum, and packed off to Manchester United.
Hazard is starting to attract comparisons to that widely accepted top three of world performers, and while it would be foolish to state that he is already at their level, a sustained burst of brilliance at his current standard will surely...

A spirited Newcastle performance, spurred on by a particularly suspect decision from the officials to disallow what would have been a wonderful equalising Cheick Tiote goal at 1-0, was ultimately fruitless as Alan Pardew’s side succumbed to their fourth defeat in a row.
An early Edin Dzeko strike and a late Alvaro Negredo goal was enough for Manchester City to climb back to the top of the Premier League but Newcastle will feel their performance and ill-fortune deserved much, much, more in a game in front of the live Sky TV cameras.
Newcastle were probably on top from 20 minutes onwards and the goal from Tiote would have been nothing more than they deserved for their attacking endeavour. Steven Taylor had spurned a half-chance from six yards minutes earlier and Yohan Cabaye forced Joe Hart into a good save to force the corner...

Last year, the Fa announced the ’20 Seasons Awards’, a set of awards given to acknowledge those that have stood out in the Epl and for various accomplishments – Best Team’, ‘Best Goal’, etc. The results of these awards can be found here.
One of the awards was given to the ‘Best Player’ of the Epl, a decision which was decided by an Fa panel, with the winner being Ryan Giggs. Since then, various websites, magazines and newspapers have come up with lists of their own, citing the greatest players to have played in the Premier League.
However, the similarity with these lists is that they are all small , normally citing 10 or 20 players and as such, the same players are mentioned over and over again. This list aims to change that, by acknowledging a whole wealth of players, 100 to be exact, who have graced the Premier League over its 21 seasons.

If you’re among the many fans who were heartbroken at the news that iCarly was ending, you’re first break from grieving hits Nick at Nite tomorrow at 8/7c (your second comes at a future date when Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande move to the dual spin-off Sam and Cat).
Hitting the absolute center of the blurry line between Nick and Nick at Nite, Wendell & Vinnie is (in some official, technical sense) reportedly an airing of Nick at Nite, celebrated on the homepage of nickatnite.com, but when you click through to the show’s homepage, you find yourself at nick.com/shows/wendell-and-vinnie.
There’s a certain sense to that, not just because of the timeslot, but because the show itself (insofar as original programming goes) does make it somewhat tricky to point to exactly where Nick at Nite begins and Nick ends. This probably makes even more...

Let's be honest, the past few weeks of Big Brother have been a bit brutal to watch. You know those times when you cringe so much because of a reality star's stupidity that you just have to change the channel? Well, that almost happened a few times because of of the houseguests reactions to Dan's antics. Almost. On Wednesday night's season 14 finale the quack packer Ian took the 500K while Dan got second. But should he really be upset about it? Of course not. He's already won this game.

Is it wrong to admit that the Big Brother episode that aired Wednesday night was actually quite boring? Frank is a huge threat in the house, but his loyalty and trustworthiness is just getting the best of him. To completely trust the guy (ahem, Dan) who just threw his own funeral only to come at you with a deal and later deciding to stay on the block just proves how unexpected this game really can be. Frank's sincere confessionals were just way too cringe-worthy.
Lucky for us though, it doesn't seem like it will get frustrating tonight. (Besides the fact that our favorite carrot top will be kicked out the door). Tonight is a double eviction and the second guest to greet Julie Chen is sure to be extremely surprised by the shakeup.

On Thursday night's live eviction on Big Brother the inevitable happened--Britney was sent packing. But was it all that inevitable as first expected? No. Not At All. With two votes against Britney (ahem Jenn and Dan) Shane and Joe had the opportunity to go all in with Ian and save the girl! Shane and Joe, what were you thinking? Joe was going to do everything Shane wanted and instead of choosing his prior coach he decided to keep his stalker because of competition reasons. Or like he told Britney on his goodbye message, because Britney has already experienced being in the house before. If only Shane and Joe opened their eyes to Danielle's new alliance, the three of those guys could have started working together and shaken up the house once again.
