Whether it is Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt manages to look perfect with all the actors she has been paired with on-screen. Now as fans eagerly await to see her with Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra and with superstar Salman Khan in Inshallah, the actress says sharing a camaraderie with a co-star impacts performance. "It makes a huge difference in my performance depending on the rapport with my co-actor. It brings so much to the scene when you know the co-actor is giving you the room to flourish your performance...when you share a chemistry and a certain warmth with your actor. The scene comes out to be way more organic," Alia told Ians in an interview.
In her forthcoming film Kalank, Alia has shared screen space with Varun and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Update: Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter did his first detailed interview on his new show Mayans M.C. with Deadline for San Diego Comic-Con. Here it is again, as the series premieres on FX tonight.
Earlier Exclusive, July 22, 11: 26 Am Pst: During the celebrated run of Sons of Anarchy, creator Kurt Sutter made a tradition of giving the fleeing masses of San Diego Comic-Con something to stay for on its final day. He’s revived that Jimi Hendrix-at-Woodstock tradition in Hall H today, where he will launch Mayans M.C., the FX spinoff series that focuses on the Latino motorcycle club that became a bigger and bigger part of the Sons series over time. The new show, which Sutter created with Elgin James and exec produces with James and pilot episode director Norberto Barba, premieres September 4.

Ten years ago, “Sons of Anarchy,” Kurt Sutter’s crime drama about a gun-running motorcycle gang in the fictional town of Charming, Calif., premiered on FX. Over the course of the seven-season run that followed, the show became the top-rated show on the cable network and developed a dedicated audience on social media before concluding in 2014.
Starring Ron Perlman as Mc president Clay Morrow, and Charlie Hunnam as vice president and Clay’s stepson, the show offered up themes of brotherhood, redemption, and most of all, family. Loosely framed around the story of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” the members of the motorcycle club clashed with rival MCs, forged uneasy alliances with other criminal outfits, they worked constantly to earn a living while staying one step ahead of the law.
Prior to “Sons,” Sutter was working on “The Shield” for the cabler, starting as a staff writer there but ultimately promoted to executive producer.

The promotional material makes it clear: “Mayans M.C.” is set in a “post-Jax-Teller world.” That distinction may sound unusual, but it’s an important one. In this reboot-remake-reimagining TV landscape, the humble spin-off show has to make a strong decision about how it wants to frame itself. “Mayans M.C.” more or less picks up where “Sons of Anarchy” left off, following a motorcycle club that was not an insubstantial part of the original series. On “Sons,” the Mayans were one-time villains who ultimately became allies in the brutal dog-eat-dog-alive fictional world of creator Kurt Sutter. In bringing them back for their own series, he (alongside co-creator Elgin James) looks to recapture the magic that made “Sons,” at its best, so vital, while branching out to something new. The simple fact of an all-Latino cast is cause enough for interest, even if the show is still working on finding its voice.

Mayans M.C. isn’t closing Comic-Con 2018. But the upcoming Kurt Sutter co-created FX series sure rolled into Hall H hard, like they were the headliners today.
Fueling some of that was Sutter’s declaration that the shared world of the new show and its Sons of Anarchy mother ride of sorts will meet, eventually.
“Right now, there is no intersecting stories. But Sons is a big world,” Sutter said of the 2014 ending, Charlie Hunnam-led show, adding he didn’t “want to fuck with” the original show or fans. “We’ll see those points of intersection this season and throughout the series as well,” he said, noting the shows do exist in the same world, have a “relationship,” and that the SoCal-set Mayans starts a little bit after Soa’s finale.
“I want to acknowledge that world and find opportunities to circle that, but I don’t want to abuse it,...

The full trailer has been released for the upcoming Sons of Anarchy spinoff series Mayans M.C. Up until this point, all we've seen are a few teasers, so this is our best look yet at the series and it looks like it's going to be pretty good. I don't know if it will be at the same caliber as Sons, but I do hope that it hooks me like that show did!
The 10-episodes first season of Mayans M.C. is set to premiere later this fall, and the story is "set in a post Jax Teller world, where Ez Reyes, fresh out of prison, is a prospect in the Mayan Mc charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Now Ez must carve out his new outlaw identity in a town where he once was the golden boy who had the American Dream within his grasp."

If you throw a motorcycle rally during a television festival, odds are high Kurt Sutter will show up.
That’s exactly what happened Friday night when the Atx Television Festival and the Republic of Texas Biker Rally joined forces to host a panel for “Mayans M.C.,” the upcoming FX drama series that’s a pseudo-sequel to Kurt Sutter’s “Sons of Anarchy.” Seventeen panelists, including Sutter, co-creator Elgin James, and star Jd Pardo, took the stage after screening the first 13 minutes of the pilot for a crowd of bikers and TV fans.
Sutter & Co. shared details about how the new show is connected to the “Sons of Anarchy” mythology, what fans can expect from the new biker gang, and who the series will be tracking. Below, IndieWire has collected the highlights from the panel — as well as a summary of those first 13 minutes — plus what we already knew about the series.

When the cast of FX’s Mayans Mc represents, they don’t play. Creators of the show Kurt Sutter and Elgin James rolled deep into the Atx Television Festival with executive producer Norberto Barba as well 13 of the show’s cast members including Jd Pardo, Clayton Cardenas, Sarah Bolger, Carla Baratta, Richard Cabral, Antonio Jaramillo, Emilio Rivera, Danny Pino, Michael Irby, Vincent Vargas, Raoul Trujillo, Joseph Lucero, and Frankie Loyal to talk about the upcoming series which opens a new chapter in the Sons of Anarchy saga.
Sutter said that the idea for Mayans Mc first came about during season 3 or 4 of Sons and was revisited after the series ended and his short-lived medieval drama The Bastard Executioner — which he jokes was “a good idea.” After he “cleansed his palette he was ready to return to the motorcycle world, but he didn’t want to create a Xerox copy of Sons.

It’s been nearly 3 1/2 years since Jax Teller’s final story was told on Sons of Anarchy, the highest-rated ongoing drama series in FX history. Now we’re getting the first look at its long-in-the-works spinoff series.
The cable net today unleashed the first teaser for Mayans Mc, which follows the biker club whose members recurred as pivotal players throughout the Sons saga’s seven-season run. “Teaser” is the operative word here, as there’s no dialogue or hints at plot or such — just 25 seconds of road, roses and a franchise-appropriate Spanish-language cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It, Black.”
Co-created by Sons father Kurt Sutter and Elgin James and hailing from Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions, Mayans Mc is set in a post-Jax world where Ez Reyes (Jd Pardo), fresh out of prison, is a prospect in the Mayans Mc charter on the California-Mexico border. Now...

Mayans Mc won't be the only Sons Of Anarchy spin-off hitting our screens soon, if Kurt Sutter gets his way...
With the first Sons Of Anarchy spin-off series, Mayans Mc, revving up to hit FX in the next few months, fans of the original show might be content with knowing the story will still move forward without the central character of Jax Teller, the role that launched star Charlie Hunnam on to bigger things.

But it appears there's a bigger vision at play in the mind of creator Kurt Sutter, who's keen for two more series to get off the ground in the future - a sequel and prequel to the original Sons Of Anarchy.

Kurt Sutter and Elgin James' Sons of Anarchy spinoff series, Mayans Mc, has received a full 10-episode order from FX. I was a fan of Sons of Anarchy and I hope this new series is just as good.
The series is set after the events of Sons, "where Ez Reyes, fresh out of prison, is a prospect in the Mayan Mc charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Reyes must carve out his new outlaw identity in a town where he once was the golden boy."
I like that basic premise and I'm looking forward to seeing how the story of Ez Reyes plays out. There's no doubt it will bring back that hardcore badass attitude that fans liked about Sons. The cast for the series includes Edward James Olmos, Jd Pardo, Sarah Bolger, Clayton Cardenas, Richard Cabral, Michael Irby, Raoul Trujillo, Antonio Jaramillo and Carla Baratta.
