John Stamos was once projected to replace Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men". The story was debunked but he is in to star on another TV series. Sony Pictures TV brings back "Dead Lawyers" to life after the legal drama was put on shelves eight years ago.
In its report, Deadline said Stamos is attached to star on the project which was originally developed for Syfy. Sean Patrick Flannery was the star in the pilot that never went on air and Paris Barclay was the director. This time, "Justified" writer Graham Yost is set to take it over as co-writer and executive producer.
Sony TV's version is described as follow, "A hotshot defense attorney is run over by a bus and finds himself in his own version of hell: a law firm on earth composed of other dead lawyers, all trying to right miscarriages of justice in order to redeem themselves.

Now Sony TV is taking another stab at the concept -- a hotshot defense attorney is run over by a bus and finds himself in his own version of hell: a law firm on earth composed of other dead lawyers, all trying to right miscarriages of justice in order to redeem themselves -- with Yost, the developer/executive producer of the studio's FX drama Justified. CAA-repped Yost will co-write the script with Justified co-executive producer Fred Golan. Stamos is set to play the hot-shot lawyer in what would be his first...
